I think running a part time schedule in Nationwide for a cup regular, makes the driver even more competitive in the Nationwide races he does drive in. Regardless of age and enthusiasm, the human body can only do so much without one thing being a distraction for another thing. Mark Martin used to be the king of the then "Busch series" in the number 60 car because it left him time to fully prepared for both series. I think Kyle sees now that it's virtually impossible for him to win both championships in the same year and that he has the best chance of winning the Nationwide series so that is where his major concentration will be. I can't blame him if he does.
