With a speed of 188.001MPH Martin Truex Jr. picked up his first Daytona 500 poll.

I tell you what, i think Truex was a real class act and quick to correct all those who interviewed him on the reality of the situation at EGR. Many of those who interviewed him tried to say that this merger was going to be great as he sat on the pole, and he said that he would enjoy today, but that it's still a long season and the results will show that. I still believe you'll see him in a fourth Gibbs car next year maybe sponsored by Napa, or at Stewart Haas Racing with Bass Pro Shops, but i think that next year it'll be the #4 Bass Pro Chevy at Stewart Haas with either Truex, Harvick, or Mark Martin and Brad Keselowski splitting that ride with Truex at Hendrick in the 5 car full time.

I can already see that dumbasses like you are sitting here pumping up Stewart like he's going to make the chase and compete for wins every weekend when you idiots need to realize what this team did last year! Just because Stewart did well in the Bud Shootout doesnt mean he's going to dominate the season in his new ride! Prime example of that is Ryan Newman and Kurt Busch finishing first and second in the Daytona 500 last year and they both went on to miss the chase and only Kurt won a race on the count of weather and Ryan of course left Penske, so all you big headed morons need to get off cloud nine and get back in touch with reality! History shows that satellite teams do not perform well and that those who have to rely on others is essentially getting hand me downs and when it comes to priority, Dale Jr, Mark, Jeff and Jimmie are the top priority of Hendrick.

the only thing Jimmie or Jeff have over smoke is more money spent on equipment. Smoke has passed Dale Jr and Mark martin in everything. He HAS a championship.
