And why are you so blind about Jr?
Finishing position doesn't tell the whole story about Jr's ability, you have to watch how HE performs on the track under green flag racing. If the advancement is usually in the pits and on the track Jr repeatedly falls back (as is the case) than the advancement was due to the crew's efforts, moreso than Jr's, because when he was on the track, Jr keeps losing a position or two during each green flag run. It's like the team gets him out several spots up, then Jr falls a few spots back. The fact that Jr finished in a better position than where he started is a reflection of how good the crew worked to get him out in a better position, NOT an indication that Jr raced into a better position under green flag racing.
Why does it matter? Because Jr is a RACE car driver, not a Sunday afternoon cruiser. His job is to RACE and to win...not just to try and hold the position his crew got him out in until the next caution where, hopefully the crew can get him out in an even better position. You'll notice that the drivers that win a lot and have championships don't just drive in circles holding their position during the race, they actually race and pass cars on the track, under the green. But I guess that's just not Junior's actually RACE.
Did you watch the start of the race????? He DROVE from 30th position up to 17th during the course of that first green flag run. The pit crew didn't do that. That was all driver.

Aw heck, she is just wishing that 13 more cars had run out of gas so Jr coulda gotten the win, not on driving ability, Lord knows Jr don't have enough of that to win races, but on fuel mileage. Then, a win would mean Jr was great, not that 15 other people ran out of gas and Jr rode past them to claim the win.
So, all 18 of his cup wins are because of fule mileage then????? When he made that pass on Stewart to win the 500 was it because Tony's fuel dipped and it caused him to slow down and Junior to pass him???? Is that how it happened???? Not because Junior has actual talent??? I think I am beginning to understand.....*sarcasm*
