Mark Martin wins LifeLock.com 400 in Joliet

Full story: Chicago Tribune

The close-cropped stubble on his head contains more salt than pepper, and the wrinkles run across Mark Martin 's face like long-ago dried-up riverbeds.

Indeed. I was at the MIS race too. They should have selected me for that chance at the million. I would have really livened up that victory celebration. Mark would have to let me do a victory lap though. Thought Jeff was going to get him on that restart, but either way, as long as they finished 1,2 the money was theirs.

I was rooting for Jeff too! Wouldn't it be something amazing if MM could win his 1st championship at 50 years of age??? I'd love to see that happen, no one is more deserving of the title than Mark Martin!!!

The "cheater lobby" will be out in full force tomorrow, you watch!!! NASCAR arranged it so the people could win in an attempt to draw more fans to the races, yada, yada, yada!!!

Of course! Especially since it was 2 HMS drivers. As all conspiracy theorists know, Rick is in complete control of Nascar. Whatever he wants, he gets. Rick must have figured, why not just let my drivers finish 1-2 this week and let some fans win the cash too. He would've let Jimmie finish 3rd, but he thought that would be to obvious, so he had Denny take care of that little problem.

Nascar is the perfect example of how Corportions RUIN everything. Back in the day when these guys raced for the trophy and the payouts it was much more fun to watch. I love the Cars, but do not think too much of the people .....BOOOGETY ..........BOOOGET...BOOGETY..

However, I think our congressmen and our senators should walk around with all the lobbyist groups that sponsors them ebroiderd on there Brooks Bros suits.

NIce job of only selling Trackpack tickets Chicagoland, the crowd looked awful on tv and an embarrassment. Did it even draw 40k?

Double file restarts have breathed some of the life back into this sport that the COT sucked out. And I love watching Mark Martin win for some reason. He just really appreciates everything he has with Hendrick. With regards to him being a jockey, I would bet on his horse any day.

Can he win the chase or have more Martin bad luck?
