You are right Sarah,

This is such a great country that when a person pays their debt to society, it's up to them to make themselves better. I think Mr. H has done a bang up job on being a better person.

You know the mail fraud thing was very complicated and he wasn't convicted he plead guilty. He plead guilty only because he got sick with the leukemia and he had to make a choice fight the charges or fight for his life he couldn't do both. So I'm asking you what would you choose?

Look up the law! A guilty plea is in fact a conviction, and as such you are a convicted felon.

BTW the "guilty" with that much money don't "plead guilty" unless they are "guilty." He did it b/c he knew the feds had him backed into a corner.

He only got a pardon because he donated untold millions into the Clinton library, thus a "quid-pro-quo," Such and upstanding citizen.

Rick Hendrick's next major crime will be some backroom scheming and scamming with Helton and France to get Jr Earnhardt and his rolling billboard into the chase.

Helping out in Haiti

Two Hendrick Motorsports planes are still making daily flights to Haiti, transporting supplies, aid and medical professionals. They started the trips with Missionary Flights on January 16, four days after a 7.2 earthquake struck the island.

On Monday, the planes delivered to Fort Pierce, Fla., 26 orphans who were in the process of being adopted by American and Canadian families. According to Missionary Flights, some of the people had been waiting for the children to be released by the Haitian government for as many as three years. The process was expedited after the earthquake.

Tragedy hits close to home for Rick Hendrick, whose family has endured a lot including a 2004 plane crash in which several members of his family, including his son, brother John and John's two daughters, died in the crash.

"I guess because in a really nasty, sad way, I know what's it like to have your family on the side of a mountain and you can't get to them,'' Hendrick said. "If everybody could be standing there at looking at the people in Haiti, see the children, immediately I thought that if my house was crumbled and I had family stuck in there, I'd want anyone who could possibly help to help."

Hendrick has committed to taking daily trips through January. Since the Associated Press first reported Hendrick Motorsports' efforts, the team has been fielding phone calls from people in the U.S. asking for help with family members or friends affected by the earthquake.

The planes they've sent are ones that normally transport race teams during the season. They've sent 10 people total from their aviation department.
