Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus: Racing Outside the Nascar Rulebook?

Question: Is it possible NASCAR inspectors are so focused on the minutia of Jimmie Johnsona s car that they cana t see the forest through the trees? A Long ago, I heard a story about two men who came to the border crossing every week.

I am not a Jimmie Johnson/Chad Knaus fan by any means, but I get sick of seeing this crap.

Nascar has punished the 48 team on multiple occasions in the past, and if they were in fact breaking the rules and got caught, it will happen all over again.

The only thing Nascar conspires against is throwing the yellow at the worst possible times to create drama.

That was pretty funny!! I mean, for an idiot, he really wrote a good funny.

For one, Crew chiefs are expected to invent an edge. They've done it since the beginning and those who were crafty enough won races. If it was something NASCAR would rather them NOT have, they make a rule to restrict the use of it.

They can search all they want but they can't bust somebody for breaking a rule that isn't listed. At best, they can applaud the ingenuity and then say 'No more using it' and announce the new rule.

So Chad may be one of the best at thinking outside the box, and if he can create an edge with how strict NASCAR is with building cars, then it'll be 48 team FTW. But don't criticise him for doing what every single crew chief should wish they knew to try or for having the brains to make that car as fast as possible. I think that's his job.

What a crock of bull manure! Is this clown ass serious? When they haul you car off every weekend to tear it apart and the best they can come up with is your car is very close to the tolerances. The 48 team is good, damn good. Yeah, they got the same chassis and engines but they don't have the same people tuning on them at the track and they don't have the same man on the box and the same driver in the seat. Jimmie is the best in the business on a restart, no wheel spinning, no missed gear or any of the other B.S. the average driver goes through on a restart. That's why he wins the race to the first turn most times. His concentration level is that high. The 48 team never goes into panic mode regardless of the situation. There's no screaming and hollering, it's discussion and agreement. Jimmie puts in all on the line during qualifying in order to give the team the best pit selection. That's not cheating, that is smart and team work. There's nothing left to chance.

No it's not possible. NASCAR is knowingly allowing the 48 team to cheat. No way on earth that car is so much faster than everyone else at all different types of tracks. The 48 car has MUCH more power than anyone else. They're cheating and JJ deserves ZERO credit for his championships.

Okay, have any of you been over to the bleachereport website? Its run by like an 18 year old kid. He could be older but not much. He sure can't spell, it looks like he reports from his bedroom in his parents house. His name is Chris and I think he probably doesn't even know anything about nascar except what he reads on other boards. So I only take what he says with a grain of salt. He's not a serious writer and very biased. I think he needs to step outside and take a deep breath of air. Or at least clean his room. JMO.

I don't know, kind of sounds like a future reporting star to me. He's biased, unknowledgable and lacks talent as a serious writer. This kid is probably a future Pulitzer winner for journalism. He'll fit right in with the main stream media.
