Lost in all this is the fact that Toyota is stomping on the competition.

Yeah, Toyota is making up for bad season last year. They've gotten their act together this year. Thats for sure...

Kyle is having a great year. No question about it. He's on a streak. The streak will eventually end.

Gordon, Johnson, Stewart and many others have had good years. Just happens that this one is Kyle's "Year". He's kickin' butt and takin' names.

Its all happened before. Just happened to different people.

yeah, Toyota's bad season last year was its first season, you sort of expect that when a new team comes into racing. But after winning 14 of 21 races this year with dominating power, NASCAR has decreased their horsepower by giving them a smaller restrictor plate.
Toyota and their racing teams show excellent engineering and preparation, something GM hasnt shown in a long, long, time. GM was always content with being just competitive.

14 out of 21? I didn't realize that Toyota had that many wins. Yeah, I don't think anyone really expected them to come out last year winning much, if at all. They've got their program together this year. No question about that.

I think that GM may have just gotten lazy and content. Look at the number of wins Chevy took last year. But, with Gibbs on board for Toyota. GM has to get moving!

See what happens next year. Tony and half ownership in a GM-based team might make a difference....
