Once again the wonderful world of NASCAR has attempted to dethrone "THE KING". NASCAR pulled a phoney on Richard in 1965 when they let Ford hornswoggle them into dis-allowing the use of the "Hemi" engine that Richard used in his Daytona 500 and Season Championship wins in 1964.
"Big" Bill France put the screws to Richard again in 1969 after the drivers formed an alliance against running the first race at Talladega due to serious safety concers. Now, NASCAR tries to make the public believe that safety is their number one priority, right after their banck account balance.
Now, "His Royal Inbred" Brian France has gone back on his word to Richard about the points situation with the 44 car.
One of these days, NASCAR will finally wake up and realize, that without Richard Petty, NASCAR would be just another less than mediocre entertainment venue about three notches less than professional wrestling. Until that time comes. NASCAR will continue to emit more that it's share of "Bovine Fecal Matter".
