I've been around nascar since the 70s. Watched his dads start and his unfortunate finish. That kid has allot of weight on his shoulders right now. Whatever is troubling him right now I just pray that he knows that this to shall pass. It must be awful to have everything and feel like you have nothing at all. We all know that kids potential, at least I know an respect all that he has done through out his racing career. Keep your chin up Dale Jr. your still a cool dude in my eyes.

I'm with you Walkabout. You don't know a man till you've walked a mile in his shoes. You don't hear anyone carping about the way Cousin Carl and the rest of the Roushkins have run this year. Your don't hear anyone talking about the three quarters of the regular field that also haven't won a race this year or about the half or more of the regular field that hasn't even won a Cup race period. No, all you hear is the P & M about Jr.

Dale Jr has been given the best equipment, personnel, resources, ever in the history of the sport. There are simply no-excuses for this man. For all of your Jr apologists out there you need to re-group and really think about what you are posting. You continue to rationalize his performance and say that things are not what they are. Nobody forces Jr to miss his pits or wreck almost the entire field at the 500. Face it. Jr is not the driver you wish him to be!

Six of his crew members were in a wreck this morning. They got T-Boned on the way to the track. All were treated and released. His pit crew may be slow today after that happened. Good luck to the team today just hang in there.

There are good fans out there, don't categorize.

Jr's crew wrecks on the way to the race, Jr wrecks during the race, just another day in the life of Jr. Stewart, Kenseth, Newman should stop by Jr's motor home, and give him a good talking to.

Hey face it all you Jr. haters. The kid is still nascar's most popular driver regardless of his stats. I do agree that he is driving for the best of the best. If your not happy with his performance take it up with Mr. Rick Hendrick, if he's cool for the moment then quit boo hooing and just advise your favorite driver(s) to give him more space on the track . Then maybe juuuuust maybe he wont wreck them. His name will go down in nascar history for the good and the bad. Unfortunately allot of these drivers names will rot in the stat books. Keep your chin up Jr. your still and always will be cool in my book.

Sooner or later, everyone of these Jr. experts are gonna cry in their beer when their driver goes through his sh*tcan period. All the Roushkins are dragging their butt, RPM doesn't have any RPM, Shrub can't get it up in the cup, Teresa is losing her best man to Mikey (what a step up) and there was a lot more fizzle than bang in Juan's chase. Jr. will break out of this run of sh*tty luck and they'll be the first to jump back on his bandwagon swearing all up and down they knew he could do it.

Every race fan with half a brain knows the 2001 Pepsi 400 was a fixer. Unfortunately half of NASCAR fans are also members of the mentally deficient mob know as Jr Nation. Heck Jr is so clueless he probably didn't realize something was different with his car that day. Tony Stewart let NASCAR’s dirty little secret out last weekend.

Some of his little home wrecking stories might erupt.I live in Indy and the Columbus cat does have a nice juicy history. I like you Tony but remember Labor day weekend...OOOPPPSSS/

You could mention something more specific than "He cheated" but I doubt you have any valid info to support your claim anyway. I don't doubt its possible and I'm not a fan of Jr but I am more interested in people being truthful than acting like a hater which is what you're doing.
