If Chad does better maybe Petty will go on and stay out of the car.

Personnally, I don't see why they didn't just put Chad in the car for all the races. Bringing Terry back is just more of the same. Old is old. I know, I have the tee shirt.

I think it's mainly because of his past championship.

Why, they are so far out of the top 35 in car owner points that it can't make a difference.

I think Chad did a great job for Petty last year. Hopefully Kyle will step out of the car when the time is right & hands over the reins to Chad.

never ever give up on one of the veterans of NASCAR if not for the Petty's NASCAR would still be on dirt tracks in North Carolina. Pay some respect to the veterans. Kyle will give the car up when he's ready. I will never be ready for him to do so.

Chad failed to go fast enough to qualify. By bringing Terry into drive they can use him being a champion to get the car in the race. That's why the wood brothers uses Bill Elliott.

Hey at this time anybody would be a good choice. Kyle needs to move on, he is a great drive but a more impressive human being. He simply is one of the nicest persons out their... Visit VCG. Anyway, one day this race team will get on track and start moving forward.. Let's hope its sooner than later and than Richard and Kyle can both relect on their respective, sucessful careers.

Terry is the perfect match for Petty Enterprises right now. With his Championship provisionals he will make all the races. He is the most current champion not in the top 35. I believe they should be looking at Terry and his son Justin to race the full schedule next year. With Bobby already there I believe it would be a team that actually would work together. Terry is still the Iceman and he is "old school". He still has a lot he could teach these new guys. I believe he is going to win some more races
