I'm ok with it. I think Kyle Petty does the absolute best color commentary on NASCAR races. He's interesting, funny, and has been there. I hope he gets a full time gig on SPEED!!!!!!!!!!

Chief - why does it have to be about his hair? Who cares??? What rides have you been offered in Sprint Cup Series this year? Good luck Kyle in what ever you choose!

kyle was a driver for years. there are a lot of drivers that raced for years and never got to the top prize. Do the math. That is why it is the top prize. The bang-em-up fans have no respect for a fair and clean driver. Funny how the other drivers have respect for Kyle on and off the track. Hey, no one is telling you how to have 'your' hair. What's that got to do with racin' anyway. Like saying D E had a stupid hairy upper lip. Kyle is Kyle and not his dad. Thanks Kyle. Always liked watching you 'RACE'. And further, what has age have to do with how your to look? Some of you should go back to watching E T.

Your right, he stayed to long just like his dad, out their being in the way all the time. With his long hair maybe he can get a job wiyh Cheece & chong. |

It's a shame to see Petty Enterprises go by the wayside, but change in everything is eminent. I was a fan of Lee Petty before Richard started driving. Kyle is a good man but just never quite "had it." I feel that if Adam had lived that the team would have lasted, but who knows. The trend has been coming on for several years toward BIG money and young men (or boys). There's been a lot of good teams and great drivers fade into history. If you mention Junie Donlevy or Smoky Yunick or Bud Moore or Bobby Allison, most people how would say who? It's sad but we must face reality.

I have always loved Kyle. You don't have to be the best driver to be a good driver. He did well at Sabatas (Ganassi) for years before he left to help out Petty Enterprises when it was struggling. He has spent the last years of his career trying to save PE and get Adam's career off and running, only to see his beloved son die and now his family's legacy dying. Kyle is an old school racer, a gentleman, a fair driver, respectful to fans, drivers, and NASCAR alike. Like Dale Jarrett, he is among the last of a dying breed. I will miss Kyle terribly. I hope he finds a decent ride at least part time for the year. |
