I think it is time for Kyle to hang em up and get a hair cut and maybe he can geta job in broadcasting. He still thinks he is a young dude and he just can't do it anymore! It's hard to admit you are getting old when you hit your forties. Believe me I know. I know I can't do the same stuff physically that I used to and it takes longer to heal and recover when you do work your body hard. The mind says yes but the body says No!

You know Foyt did this kept driving forever and he never got his mojo back! It was sad to see him out there just trying and not being competitive. Not that Petty was ever that successful. I agree time to call it quits and the hair, omg cut the hair

My curosity goes beyond Kyle not being able to drive a Cup car at a team he supposedly was part of the ownership of. I'd love to know what the breakdown was within the Petty organization it's self. Rumor has it that the Petty organization was trying to put Kyle out of the 45 before they sold to the investor. So, who really was in charge at Petty? Was there a silent partner that no one knew about? We haven't heard the real story here yet.

Kyle and Richard have had trouble before. When he was young he and his dad were "estranged" and Kyle went out on his own only to return later after supposedly fixing things with his dad. Kyle seems to want to run things but I feel does not have the talent to drive or run the organization. the new investors probably want him out and I feel he is done too. He needs to go ride his Harley and maybe get a booth job and leave the racing to those who know what is going on.

Well I respect your opinion but you need to look at his record especially the last five to ten years. He is washed up and needs to back away and give some young driver a chance.

Kyle Eugene Petty is obviously not as good as he use to be at racing. But don't sell him short. He's a very accomplished singer and commentator. Through his ties to NASCAR Kyle along with his wife Pattie honor their son Adam Kyler's memory with the Victory Junction Gang Camp for children with life threatening illnesses. None of us can boast that.
