Growing up in dover del, I have always been aware of nascar racing. I have only followed the sport for the past 15 years.Being a Petty ent. fan, my years rooting for the petty teams have been frustrating, but I could not give up on them. after the 2006 season I am exited and happy for them. The future for Petty fans finally looks bright. The years of dedication to our team and drivers will hopefully pay off. that day will come when i finally see a Petty ent car in victory lane. preferrably the 45, but I will be happy with the 43

PATRICK, YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE OUT THERE THAT LOVES THE PETTY FAMILY AND WOULD GIVE ABOUT ANYTHING TO SEE THE 43 BACK IN THE WINNERS CIRCLE. I'M 63 AND MY HEALTH IS NOT VERY GOOD RIGHT NOW BUT I'D DO ABOUT ANYTHING TO SEE RICHARD'S CAR WIN AGAIN. I STARTED GOING TO NASCAR RACING BACK IN 1962, JUST AS RICHARD'S CAREER TOOK OFF. I'VE DRIVEN ALL NIGHT TO GET HOME BECAUSE I HAD TO WORK THE NEXT DAY AFTER GOING TO SEE THAT ELECTRIC BLUE 43 RUN. I CRYED LIKE MY OWN GRANDSON HAD DIED WHEN ADAM WAS KILLED. THERE IS NO ONE IN NASCAR THAT HAS AS BIG A HEART AS KYLE PETTY. HIS RIDE ACROSS AMERICA STARTED LONG BEFORE ADAM PASSED. THERE IS GOOD RACERS AND THERE IS GOOD PEOPLE. THE PETTYS ARE GOOD RACING PEOPLE. I PRAY I LIVE LONG ENOUGH TO SEE THE 43 WIN ONE MORE.

Hey Flames, nice to see you again. Hope the holidays were nice for you and your family. Also, welcome aboard Gordon Reagh. Can't wait till next month when the races begin again. Sundays are really boring without NASCAR. GO JEFF GORDON!!

No matter what happens this year, I still salute Kyle Petty. Anyone who wins the Year's Most Caring Athlete Award is a superstar in my eyes.
Thanks everyone, I have been on the other boards and decided to come over here for a little while.

Hello Watch the Flames. Its good to see you on here with us again. Hope your feeling
great by now..We are all just counting the days
waiting for the big loud roar at Daytona. I cried like a baby when Adam was killed, I will never forget that day.I along with you would love to see them once again in Victory Lane...

Thanks, Snow. I sure hope that during the year, we keep fairly civil on this board. I got my face punched out last year as we neared the Homestead race. I was on, I think, Mr. Newmann's board and we were all talking about everybody, really, and I made a comment about liking Matt Kenseth and you would have thought I had complimented the devil himself! They ripped into me. Luckily, our Mindy here came to my rescue! In my eyes, all of the drivers are winners. It's just that some stand out more than others...like Kyle and dad.

Yes I know what your saying but I love all the folks having a favorite driver.
Thats what makes it fun we can't all root for the same driver. I respect them so much for giving us
a good show every week,I am justing counting the days until Daytona. I ordered nascar Hot Pass
from Directv, Now I can ride shotgun on the track and in the pits....This should be interesting......

That Dewalt suit must look terrific on you. Can you imagine if one tried to wear something representing every one of the drivers they liked? For instance, if you are a Roush team person, you could wear black and yellow Dewalt suit rep. Matt, red, white, and blue something for Greggie, something purple for Jamie, green maybe for Carl...you would look like a psychedelic acid freak with all those colors!
