Well gee Patti that would be to good of an idea.
I love the I want something to eat next pit stop. Yeah eat while driving 150 MPH.
Has anyone ever asked for that. I've only heard Tony ask for something to drink. I can't imagine them eating.

But then again, didn't we see Tony at Indy driving with his knee one time??

I have heard a few ask for a sandwich or banana. I can't recall who. For some reason Carl comes to mind.

They ask for things like bananas because they r high in potassium . Potassium helps prevent leg cramps . Thats also why they need to drink energy drinks Or water . They sweat so hard they dehydrate & if potassium levels drop its not fun .

Yet we don't see them throwing banana peels out the window. When driving down the highway do they throw stuff out the window?

Potassium is indeed a serious health issue. But one banana ain't gonna get it. Believe I know, my body does not hold potassium and I have to take pills everyday for it. Too much can kill you and too little can also kill you.
Amy, I remember MM asking for a sandwich once and also Kyle Busch asking for a hot dog.
As for all these drivers that throw their garbage on the track. Guess that's what they do when they're off the track and it just comes natural. But they definitely need a penalty of a drive thru like Amy said for throwing crap out the windows.

All I was getting at was some of the drivers might have health issues . That make them need a drink or snake . I worked with women that had Dr. notes so the could leave there stations to grab a yogurt or a piece of fruit . I have know idea what was wrong with them . But the were fine when they came back . And around here no one throws things out the window on the thruway . I was stopped once when my oldest decided to throw his transformer out the window .

They have frequently shown Carl throwing his empty, plastic drink container out the window during a caution, while he was down close to the interior part of the track, not in the racing grove at all. They don't call cautions for empty water bottles, hot dog wrappers, chip bags etc that end up on the track. Robby threw a large piece of foam wrap from his roll cage onto the racing surface allegedly in an attempt to have a caution called that's really not the same

Oh and yes drivers have asked for a sandwich, bannana, energy bar to eat during a caution. I don't think they generally eat while at racing speed though.

Banana peel? While driving yesterday I saw a banana peel in the road and instinctively swerved to avoid it...thanks Mario Kart.

I don't get why they don't just leave the empty ones in the car and when they pit they can throw it out the window before they drive off, then their pit crew can pick it up.

NASCAR drivers are too picky to be sensible...and they'll probably excuse themselves by saying "adrenaline rushes kicked in!"

Sure they do they sent the sweepers out at martinsville for wrappers before! It looked terrible they were flying all over I believe it was about 3 or 4 years ago! But you are correct not normally but it has happened

<quoted text>I was thinking the same thing. Or a snake in the car. I am LMAO thinking about a snake coming out from under the seat and the driver freaking out.
Amy, that ain't funny! It happened to me and my brother. We were driving to school in his duck taped/bailing wire car and one came out of the defrost. My brother jumped out of the car and left me in it. It hit the ditch the snake went one way and I went another. That's when I was afraid of snakes. But I never rode to school with my brother again after that.
So new movie - instead "Snakes in a Plane" it's "Snakes in a Car".
