Heres a little known fact about Tony Stewart that not many people are aware of.Several years ago a friend of mines brother was involved in a dirt bike accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down. This kid was a huge Tony Stewart fan and somehow or another managed to e mail Tony and made him aware of what had happened to him.Stewart than sets up communications with this young man and keeps in regular contact with him throughout the remainder of his short life. Heres the kicker,Stewart no only lifted the spirit of this young man but he makes arrangements to finance the purchase of a state of the art computerized wheel chair that ran somewhere in the neighborhood of $250,000 to $300,000.After his passing Stewart also makes arranements to cover the kids funeral expenses. What I learned about Tony Stewart is that you can't really judge a book by it's cover.Sometimes the public perception is a smoke screen that covers what deep down is a very caring senseitive person with a huge heart.God Bless Tony from all of us who knew this young man and the tragedy that turned into triumpth.

I HAVE BEEN HERE AWHILE I ALSO LIKE THE OLD SCHOOL RACING. IF YOU WATCH THE SPEED SHOWS OF THE OLD RACES THAT IS WHAT YOU SEE DRIVERS KNOCKING CARS OUT OF THEIR WAY. MUCH LIKE THE WAY TONY DRIVES. TONY SHOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN A PENALTY. ALOT OF DRIVERS ARE NOT SURE HOW THESE CARS WILL HANDLE IN TRAFFIC AND ARE FOUNDING OUT YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO DO THINGS IN THE COT THAT YOU COULD IN THE OLD CARS. I THINK YOU WILL SEE MORE OF THESE THINGS HAPPENING TIL THEY GET USE TO THESE CARS. KURT HAS USED HIS CAR LIKE THAT BEFORE AND IS LUCKY HE DID NOT HIT THE CREW PERSON. WONDER HOW HE WOULD FEEL THEN IF THAT GUY WAS HURT?
Lets hope we never have to find out how he would feel because that would mean he took it 1 step too far.

Tony fat boy Stewart is nothing more than a bully.
He was the one who caused the whole tiff between himself and Kurt Busch. He just figures everyone should get out of his way on the track. Well someone should tell him he is not God out there. So get a haircut and a shower, maybe he'll be able to think clearer.
Go Jimmie!
Fist off learn about racing and understand that when you are going 190mph (that's miles per hour in the USA) you can't just hit the brakes and wait for the slower guy (Crybaby Busch) to get out of the way. You will get run over and cause a bigger accident. Secondly, "Jimmie" is all your's. By the way it is spelled Jimmy in the USA. Third and final do us all a favor, try and keep your unknowledgable comments to yourself and turn around so your old man has some place to set his beer and watch a hockey game.

I don't think Tony would disagree with that article, it seems fact filled. Was Tony supposed to change? I'm confused am I supposed to be upset that Tony is still Tony?????(cause I think one of Tony's best qualities is that he is not "fake" (no punn intended, lol).

"longtime nemesis Kurt Busch" LOL, the drama and credibility that added to the article! Maybe there should be a comic book?

Why would anyone bump draft during practice?? Do you push and shove your way to the front of the food shelf line at the homeless shelter were you live?

Absolutely!

Most drivers probably try to do some good things with the millions of dollars we help them earn by being fans. I personally think they have a moral responsibility to do that, but many do it from the heart too. I think NASCAR drivers are the most kind hearted athletes in the USA.

With that said, that does not give Tony a free pass to treat people bad. He still needs to grow up and learn how to be respectful. Once he starts that, the negative comments will ease up.
