Crashes make McMurray public enemy No.1

One of the only good things about Jamie McMurray wrecking out of the Daytona 500 with three laps to go was it gave him a head start on leaving ahead of some of his competitors. Full Story

I am a big McMurray fan. But even I do not like how he was driving yesterday. As far as Tony saying what he said over the radio, that was too funny. Classic Tony Stewart saying whatever it is that is on his mind. And I admire him for it too!

Thought maybe Tony might have gotten it together last year. OOPS! Time for damage control for Home Depot and anger management again. I wonder if the "Coach" might take on Tony and T.O. both if the money was right.

Give McMurray a break! He drove Ganassi's Dodge for 3 years, he's still getting used to real racecars.

I agree w/ Ron, he's not used to having such horsepower under his right foot... and if he put a little nudge into the Miller Lite car, so be it... maybe he needed to show Kurt what a great car and a great opportunity that he let pass... When's the last time a Penske car won the Cup?

I have to agree with Elysa. Mcmurray would have finished strong if Burton hadn't cut him off. And did anyone else think that the comment Kurt made when Jamie wrecked was totally cruel and out of line?! If Kurt is gonna act like a spoiled brat and whine and complain every time something goes wrong then he needs to find himself another career. Racing is a man's sport and there is no room for crybaby's like him.

I only have one thing to say to Kellis comment, Kurt Busch can whine all he wants his race wins and championship victories speak for themselves. Maybe Jmaie should take a few pointers from him on how to drive cars with the big boys because all Jamie seems to do now is sit back in the middle of the feild and wreck everybody around him including himself.

Here's to Kelli's comment--That figures-- everyone else can whine and complain about someone taking them out of the race-- but not Kurt. Gordon whines, Earnhart whines-- Stewart whines-- but that is ok. They all blame someone else for their problems.
And if I remember correctly-- when they interviewed Kurt after he got taken out-- he never complained about anything-- he said that that was the breaks and they looked forward to the next race. Let's face it-noone likes him because he is good. Where's Junior's championship?? Maybe you should put up or shut up.

THat is so true those cars in Ganassi's team and they were so slow that is why he did not win and also they were not he best cars and that is why he did not win but when we won the race in charlotte in marlins car is because it was faster !!!!!! lol

I think that Jamie is a very talented driver. But he must have the wieght of the world on his shoulders. Afterall complaining non stop about Ganassi and then Mears pulls off such a great finish at Daytona. Jamie is driving like he has got to prove himself. If he relaxes I belive he will do great things this season. Roush had a bad day at Daytona, wich is unusal.

Now my favrites are clearly McMurray and Stewart. Stewart will always be himself. Love him or hate him, he's still the defending champ. Both drivers will definetly pull it together and have amazing seasons. Stewart has never in his carear in NASCAR finished outside the top ten in points! His passion for what he does sometimes gets in the way. It can work for him, but most of the time it works against him.

You know? Tony was coming around last year with the professionalism and all. Living here in Indiana, it was good to see that but after Daytona and the comments that he made, his script of Prozac must have run out. Don't start crying again Tony....You are too good of a racer for that and Matt did nothing to you to.....
Get back to being a pro Tony.

Haha and where did good ol drunk Kurt finish? 16th and mcmurray finished 6th. Sorry to all the Kurt fans. He is a whiner plain and simple. Why would Michael Jordan have left the bulls during his championship runs to go play for the clippers? Doesnt make sense does it. Neither does Busch leaving Roush. Being a Roush fan I am happy though, no more rooting for a DUI driving whiner. And really if you Busch fans wanna say anything about mcmurray all i have to say is your driver got his ears pinned back because he was self conscious. What an idiot be happy with who you are. So bring on the bashing but there is not a thing a Busch fan can say without the ear suregery comment trumping it.

Thanks and happy whining Busch fans!

I personally think that Tony Stewart is a hypocrite. He talks about how aggressive driving is dangerous and should have conseqences yet aggressive driving is one of his more predominant attributes and he himself was the first to do it at Daytona. I donn't really care if Kenseth hit him first-if you want people to be punished for aggressive driving-don't think that you can get away without a blackflag too. So to end that-Tony's a jackoff. I was actually happy to see Kurt Busch's traitor ass put into the wall by Jamie and hey-if the officials didn't black flag him, then it couldn't have been that bad.
