They need to start listening to what the fans have to say. Without the fans Nascar is not going to make it.I saw a big change this year at the<quoted text>I've already sent it to NASCAR feedback a half dozen times over the last couple of years. Even call Dave Moody on Sirius one afternoon and explained it. Dave says it wouldn't work because the moment one of the front runners got sent home, his fans and sponsor would raise so much hell so NASCAR would never use it. Years ago at a dirt track not too far from here, I saw the points leader get the win taken from him because his crew got caught trying to add weight to the car before he went to the scales. They disqualified him and threw out his points for the night and it cost him the track championship. He was the crowd favorite but I don't think I ever heard as much cheering as I did that night. I really surprised me. I was sponsoring a street stock at the time and the following season not a single car was caught cheating. That promoter also had a rule that if you hit another car on the first or last lap and passed him, he got his spot back and enforced it.
10 races I attended. I expect next year to be worse.
