I like this man who wrote this article. Especially since he said this!
["Montoya is a talented driver who could easily land another ride. If the new Earnhardt-Ganassi team and Montoya donít deliver results in 2009, look for a parting of the ways."]
You don't say! Talented and can easily land another ride! I heard that!
But on the other hand Jeff Gordon has nothing to prove he's proved it all already!

Montoya's team were finding something for the 1.5 mile tracks at season end. He was running in the top 10 but wrecks, not of his making, took him out. I think the hook-up with DEI and Ganassi will prove to be good for both Montoya and Truex.
Let's win some races in 2009 for Earnhardt Ganassi Racing.....

With the exceptions of Jimmy Johnson and Carl Edwards, ever driver in Cup has something to prove.
Jeff Gordon needs to prove he still has the singular desire to win.
Dale Jr. needs to prove that he has the racing IQ to be able to verbalize enough about the car during the race to keep up with the track and not fade at the end of each race. He also needs to emerge from the shadow of TV pitch man to that of winning driver.
Denny Hamlin needs to show the ability to step up and become the lead driver in the Gibbs camp and provide the mature leadership that will be needed with Bush and Lagano.
All Dodge drivers need to attempt to prove that the Dodge power package is not a piece of crap, perhaps a job that can not be done.
All Jack Roush drivers need to prove that they can compete with Hendrick on a daily basis and Jack (Hat Man) Roush needs to show that they can compete on all types of tracks with chevy.
All RCR drivers need to prove that they are more than brides maids in the chase. They need to show the ability to not just stay close to the Roush and Hendrick drivers, they need to show they can beat them.
NASCAR needs to show that they will be able to draw more than 36 full sponsored competitive cars in 09 and not to rely on 5 to 7 ghost or field filler cars that are most likely either fully or partially owned and supported by NASCAR.
The Big Three auto makers need to show that they can build cars with Toyota quality and are worthy of a bail out and if in fact are bailed out can survive and compete long term in this global market.

yip and Montoya needs to prove that his fat ass can still fit in a cockpit .....
By the way Voice of reality, I agree with a lot of what you say, except the bit about Jeff Gordon. He really has nothing to prove to anyone.
