Mark Martin held off Juan Pablo Montoya on a late frantic restart to win the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship opener at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Being a Mark Martin fan since he was driving the Strohs Light #6, I'm very happy!! Hope he can keep winning!!

So good to see Mark at the top, but still cannot root for him, since leaving Jack Roush and Ford. I was a diehard fan from the beginning of his career, until he left Roush, but, if Carl Edwards can't win the championship, I have to think that Mark is the best alternative.
