NASCAR not to blame for tire fiasco that clogged up prestigious Brickyard 400 race
The NASCAR race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday was a debacle. No point in denying it.

While my suspicion is that the mistake that led to the fiasco was made by Goodyear, NASCAR is THE responsible party. They are ultimately responsible for the product being sold to the public.
To "blame" only Goodyear (or someone else) would be the same mistake being made every week by those who blame China for poor and/or unsafe products and not the companies importing and selling the flawed products.
