It doesn't matter, the first 26 races are exibition races then the season starts in September.

Jimmie early exit wasn't his fault, Did you watch the race? Elliot Sadler admited hitting the back of JJ car and after talking with cc apolagized for the bump,dumb a$$.

hate that Jimmie went out so early. Oh well it happens he will be just fine he aint a 5 time champ for nothing. We will get it next week. Lets go Jimmie.

Not according to their sponsors. NASCAR has become such a high dollar sport that you either perform or the sponsors are out the door. It's not unusual for a sponsor to fold up their tent mid-season.
