NASCAR not interested in mandatory cautions
NASCAR President Mike Helton didn't sound very interested in the billionaire track promoter's suggestion to throw bogus cautions to bunch up the field.

Why not they put out yellowflag for a waterbottle on part of the track that you dont even use. Thats crazy

With all the high tech cheaters NASCAR should call at least one mandatory caution somewhere after half way and before the end of the race and give each official in the pit box a tape measure and have them check the car. Cheaters go to the back when they restart. If the rule states the car must be x inches off the track then thats what it should be..no excuses. NASCAR has rules but they allow the fan favorites to break the rules. They let JJ's car set for an hour at Dover one year so it would rise enough to be legal. What kind of bullcrap is that?

I don't like Nascar anymore because they screw around with the rules way too much. As it is, they change from race to race. And they will throw up a bogus yellow to try and make it a ten lap shoot-out or green, white and checkered, except at Michigan when Joonyer was leading hahaha! No way were they gonna take that race from the red-headed step child.

"NOT INTERESTED IN BOGUS CAUTIONS"????? A$$CAR invented BOGUS CAUTIONS for goodness sake!!! The idiots running this "sport" into the ground think their fans are even dumber than they really are...and that's saying something!!

COME ON NASCAR QUIT BEING SO OFFENDED. WHAT DO YOU CALL FREE PASSES AND WAVE AROUNDS AND BOGUS CAUTIONS AND FLEXIBLE RULES INTERPRITATIONS AND MANY OTHER THINGS BUT RACE MANIPULATION.YOU HAVE MANIPULATED THE HARD CORE RACING OF THE 1950'S THRU THE 1980'S RIGHT OUT OF EXISTENCE. I AM OFFENDED AT BEING ACCUSED OF WANTING TO SEE WRECKS WHEN WHAT I AND A LOT OF OTHER FANS REALLY WANT IS A RETURN TO THE SATURDAY NIGHT BULL RING-TAKE NO PRISONERS TYPE OF RACING THAT USED TO BE COMMON AT TRACKS LIKE BRISTOL. BLOCKING AND FUEL MILEAGE CONTESTS AIN'T RACING. GOODBYE TO NASCAR FROM A FAN OF OVER 40 YEARS
