Ginn made a mistake...Sterlings finishing positions are almost allways better than his starting positions. If he had Martins car, he just might have won one.

you've GOT to be kidding. sterling drove for 100 years. never had a top notch ride. wonder why. oh, i know, it must be that he is as good as martin but that nobody... NOBODY... ever noticed.

except the 2 of you in the previous posts od course.

look, he's a good driver. he's done well this year - i've been watching. TON of bad luck too. he also seemed to be getting better as the season progressed. but he's had 728 cup starts. if he can't get 'discovered' by now... he ain't that good.

he's one stubborn SOB on the track i'll give you that.

I agree, Sterlin is a great driver, and Ginn dumped him. I can understand dumping Nemechek, but Sterlin was doin well compared to what he had. And yea, if Marlin had Martin ride, he'd probably be competiting for wins, and probably nab a few as well.

The thing about having you day in the sun is that at the end the twilight comes. That is the signal to pack it up and head to the house. I've loved to watch them race and cheered them on but business is business. Racing is a performance sport and when you have reach the twilight it's better not to drag it on. Richard drug it on for 7 or 8, DW the same way. Right now there are several more in the same boat, Kyle Petty, Ricky Rudd, Dale Jarrett, Michael Waltrip, Terry Labonte, Bill Elliott. When you're three decades into wheeling 3400lb cup cars around, that right foot simply will not stay on the floor as much.

Ginn did not make a mistake. He simply showed his true colors when things started going sour. Sterling trusted him and got shafted for it. I wrote Booby Ginn a rather interesting e-mail this afternoon...since the Admin on our official fan club site asked us to keep it civil. Chances are, Booby will never see any of the messages he's received, but I sure hope his computer system is extra heavy duty!
Sterling will be back. His friends in the Garage will see to that. Nothing gets him down for long...and he has unfinished business.

He is far from being stouborn, he is the most fair driver out there. If he is slow he will get out of the way and let them go. Sterling is a good (DRIVER) Just Had a BAD pit crew i think ,he would go in the pits 7th come out mid pack.

Ginn's eyes were bigger than his stomach. He thought he could bring all his "business smarts" and have a championship team. This is a guy who's in a world of hurt financially and is seeing quite a few lawsuits over his real estate dealings. He never should have gotten into Nascar, because he had no idea what it all entails. I feel for the two drivers who listened to this lunkhead and signed contracts.
