I'd make 'em race on the track, if you enter the pits you can't leave for 1 min. fewer guys over the wall, or something to stop all this cruisin', also interrupt commercials if something happens on the track. I'd like to see real racin' again!!

<quoted text>Terri, you have a great idea there. NASCAR should make everyone that enters a race prepare a car and bring it. Then they could put all the car numbers in a fish bowl and the drivers could draw to see which car they were going to drive for that race. It probably wouldn't lend itself to the teams really going all out to build fast cars but it would be interesting. It would be a great way to cut costs and slow the cars down.
The drivers could not switch cars because the drivers are different shapes and sizes. Micheal Waltrip could never fit into Mark Martin's car, or vice verse. Furthermore, each driver sets the car up to his/her driving style. Many drivers could not drive another driver's set up.

The drivers could never switch cars for qualifying because drivers come in all shapes and sizes. Micheal Waltrip could never fit into Mark Martin's car or vice verse. Furthermore, each driver sets his car up how he likes it. Most drivers could not drive another drivers set up. I must say though, it would be interesting.

It is simple to me... if you get caught cheating, the race team is not eligible to participate in the chase or any of the non points events. Period. If that was the rule, the 48 would not have won the cup last year. He profited by cheating even tho he was caught!

<quoted text>So what if he did pitch a fit. He wasn't Mr.Nascar. Those days are gone so might as well accept it or leave the sport. Simple as that.
I am not saying he was Mr. Nascar.. but he was a huge influance on racing... he did know right from wrong. All these people are "jumping on the ban wagon" are still green behind the ears.. they truly have know idea how it was when it was a drivers sport.. not the sponsers.. and corprate america.. I say let em race..

If you think Nascar needs to hear from you

This is where you need to send your complaints to,

[email protected]

Maybe if enough of us email them they will realize WE care about what is going on. AND to all of you that will post that this is, like "pissin in the wind", then I guess you don't "vote" either so don't forget we live in a free country where we all have the right to voice our opinion.

Is there different rules for the Hendrick drivers? I have watched Nascar for 25 years.. until Hendrick got big in the sport it seemed somewhat fair. But then came Hendrick teams.. and Hendrick the saint.. Does anyone remeber the days when he was on house arrrest? For what? Think about it.
