When the start times of Formula One races are adjusted to the benefit of the European market the only people that watch F-1 races in the US are the die hard fans like me.
Most of the races are broadcast a few hours after midnight on the West coast and very early morning on the East coast. Until the casual, channel surfing, race fan can catch a F-1 race, there isn't much hope of increasing F-1's popularity in the US.
