You are a big jerk in my book. May you, yourself, have a rotten year and throughout the rest of your life. Tony has a hell of a lot more going than you ever will.

You're on the right track, Fan In all honesty there isn't a driver
there that can carry his helmet bag. Before you begin with all the
name calling, look at what he's done. Do you see Junior in an Indy
car? Even a sprint car or a midget. It's something to get in one and win championships in everything he's sat in. I just used Junior as a name, you could pick anybody. JJ Yeley is cut from the same cloth.
We were with the both of them at Indy and they're both pretty cool
customers when it comes to the loud pedal. We've been fortunate
enough to spend time at various tracks with the both of them. Have
you spent time with your favorite? Did he treat you well? I've heard
horror stories about other drivers, I've been with Tony when he's
said no to a fan. He was very nice saying he was on vacation, come
to one of the signings and he'll sign what you want. That isn't what
the fan wants to hear, it happens in any sport. Just think what was
just said here. Kennseth isn't the cleanest driver out there anyway. Let the man race. Thanks for your time TS

After the Bud Shootout Tony was complaining about other drivers driving, saying someone was going to get killed. Then one week later, at Daytona, he drives like an ass. And I've seen him do it most of the season. Tony is a great driver, I will admit that, but he needs to control his temper out there before he's the one getting someone killed.

Tom mentioned Tony saying no to a fan request for an autograph. I see it like this: if Tony or any celeb is on vacation, let them be. Sure, it's probably the fan's only chance to see them in person, but God knows I don't want to do work related things on my day off, so why should Tony feel differently? He needs a day off, too.

The sad thing is that most people don't stop to think that maybe he needs some time off. They think that he chose to be in this position and that gives them the right to have access to him whenever they want. It may not be right, but that's how people think. I think everyone, celebrities and athletes included are entitled to their private time. If they aren't at a specified autograph session or if it's not at the track, why can't people just let them be? Who wants to be hounded during all their free time? It's a wonder these guys have a life at all.

What I'm reading in this forum is a bunch of excuses from Stewart fans for his inability to control his temper or accept responsibility for any of his actions. From almost the day he came to NASCAR his temper has kept him in trouble in some manner. If you put yourself in the spotlight voluntarily then you need to be mature enough to live there without being in a constant battle. He's a good driver or he wouldn't be where he is but that doesn't get him the right to try to push around other drivers, crew chiefs or other people trying to do their job. It kind of goes back to the old saying about the duck, if looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's a duck. If he looks like a butthole, talks like a butthole, acts like a butthole. You got it. Butthole!!

Watch The Flames..

I don't see him needing personal time as an excuse. I realize Tony has shown his butt a few times, but lately he's been much improved. Most of these drivers at some point have been less than cordial, so don't zero in on just Tony. I sure wasn't hearing you cry "poor Matt" when Jeff gave him a much need shove a few weeks ago.
I like Jeff, too, and on the Jeff forums I don't let anyone get away with talking junk about Jeff, and I'm the same about Tony over here. If you're not a Tony fan, please stay on the Jeff forum.
