Stewart captures Fort Wayne auto race

It is nice to know that despite ending Jimmie Johnson's domination of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and winning his third series title this past season, Tony Stewart still hasn't changed his outlook on certain things.

The Smoke winning streak continues!! Hope this lasts through the Chili Bowl and the Daytona 500! And he did it at Fort Wayne with a 20 year old car...haha

If Trevor Bayne (a fairly newcomer) can win the Daytona 500, why can't Tony? Hope this coming year he wins it. He has to have the right pusher.

Saw Tony win in FW several years ago. It was great fun, but it doesn't hurt that his car was thousands of times better than anyone else's & he had a full crew! It's a great place for a Smoke fan to see him up close & personal.

I wish I could get to a local track like that to see him race something other than a nascar stock car. I think it would be interesting to see how he is away from all the nascar stuff.

I saw Tony win the last time he perfromed in this event and it is ridiculous for fans to say his 20 year old midget is better than anything built today.. He races against guys who weekly race their midgets.. so it is WROING to say he has an advanastge.. When I saw him, he was so full throttle that he did donuts in the middle of the track during the race and had to get back out there to get it back, which he DID.. the deal with Tony is that since he is a RACER, not just a NASCAR driver,, we get to see him go full out in whatever he sits in.. he does not EVER play it safe.. Thank GOD for people like Tony who still encourage all of us to go full throttle

in this series,, the field is jumbled up so he has to work his way through and around traffic and if people cannot see that he actually is a HERO for competing at this level... then I do not know what to say about "race fans"... I do hope that this year at ElDora,, that he does not give anyone else a break so that he will win that too!
I cannot WAIT to live in Michigan again so I can watch Tony enjoy REAL racing,, outside NASCAR.

I have seen him race at Macon Speedway, which he is part-owner of near here. He always spends tons of time signing autographs, etc. And he doesn't always win...lol This last summer he brought Trevor Bayne with him and taught him how to race on dirt for the first time. Funny thing was...Trevor ended up during better than Tony! My personal opinion...that was how Tony planned it...lol I would highly recommend going to a dirt track to watch Tony race. It's entirely different from NASCAR racing!!

Forgot to mention he won again on Sat. night at The Rumble. Took the lead on lap 18 and never looked back...lol Now, how could I have forgotten that...hehe
