NASCAR tries to break up Talladega 2-car tandems

It doesn't matter, those guys will just swap around a little more often. If they can't push but three laps before they have to switch, they will still be faster than the long pack.

They could break up the draft if they knocked the banking down and made it a flat track.

With both tracks being fairly recently repaved at a cost of millios of dollars niether track will do so. NASCAR could however remove the restrictor plates forcing the drivers to use their brakes or at least have to lift off the gas to navigate the corners safely which would have the same effect.

Thats what Im saying, boths tracks were recently repaved anyway. The problem with your solution is that nascar doesnt want cars going around the track at 230-240 mph (which is probably an insurance policy regulation, not a NASCAR rule)
