Don't worry NASCAR fans, the 2010 Daytona 500 script written , and the stage set for a Jr comeback victory.

Shakespeare could not write a better fable than what will be the 2010 season...

You have been on these boards for a long time. I am interested in what you have to say. Do you work in the sport?

Let the fans of "media personalties" move on to the next "IN" sport. I'd be happy to see the sport get back to the core fans, that actually enjoy "racing" and "racers" and not PC vanilla drivers who are seen more in commercials than they ever are on the track. Real fans of racing, don't give a hoot whether Jr. ever wins again. We've got "racers" like Kyle, Carl, Denny, Tony, Juan and Brad to give us some exciting races.

I think Kyle Busch,Denny Hamlin, and JP Montoya are some of the best NASCAR has ever seen. Not too fond of Brad though.

Let's make NASCAR better for the fans, like it should be. Let's get commentators that know what they are talking about, let's put on networks that will stay with the whole race and not change to a secondary network if it runs later than they want, let's quit changing the rules in the middle of the season. Let's let these guys race!

it's hard to compare two diffrent eras. Earnhardt won his championships when all the races actually counted, but you can't blame Johnson for the chase rule, it is what it is. he still would have won two championships if the points were the classic way

There have been "alleged" "secret" meetings between HMS and NASCAR as to how to get Jr (if not the championship, some wins). The sport is in dire need of Jr improving to get his fan base back in the seats and watching a whole show.

Rick made a deal for this year to let Jimmy have the "fix" for his fourth straight. Now that is out of the way they can do a "full court press for Jr" The equipment he has will be unbelievable fast, he will be the only one able to pass with the COT, and NASCAR has agreed to help him whenever possible. You will see more phantom cautions, rule changes mid-race, and drivers penalized who try to race him. Basically Jr will be able to show up drunk and still win. NASCAR is rigged so no other team besides Hendrick can win a championship. I'm sure it has something to do with money or sponsorship.

All of this will start with the Daytona 500, watch in February if you don't believe it.

It will be the biggest fraud to come out of NASCAR since Jr won the 2001 Pepsi 400 running an illegal car with NASCAR's approval.

Nascar needs to wake up and realize that things are in the tank for them. I keep hearing on the Tv about how Nascar is Americas most growing sport. Not even close. Brian France must drool when he sees the NFL stats. No problem filling their seats.
Season ticket waiting list
Green Bay - 81,000
Denver Broncos - 34,000
Indiana Colts - 25,000
Even the Chicago Bears have 3,500 fans waiting on a list.

Funniest comment on NASCAR I think I have ever heard...

"I didn't understand NASCAR until I met some NASCAR fans. You talk to a couple of NASCAR fans and you'll see where a shiny car driving in a circle would fascinate them all day. And I can make fun of NASCAR fans, because if they chase me, I just turn right." — Alonzo Bodden

Waiting List for:

Sprint Cup Races - 0
Nationwide Races - 0
Dopey Trucks - 0

NASCAR should just give away tickets; at least they'd make a few bucks on sale of tee shirts, caps, die cast cars, and Bud Light.

I normally agree with your posts, but this time, I am going to have to disagree. The Frances' cannot be stupid enough to place all their eggs in one basket, cause if you drop the basket, all the eggs will be broken, therefore, I can't see this all out campaign to put jr on top. Jr has already proven this year that he is not championship material, and doesn't have the desire to be a champion. NASCAR was here before the Earnhardts and NASCAR will survive without an Earnhardt, regardless what some people may think, the sport is bigger than any one entity, especially one that can only finish 25th in points with the best equipment. Jr may get an opportunity to win a race here and there, but he doesn't have what it takes to compete on a regular basis and bring out the best of the people around him, he is no Brett Favre..........

I know I said I was signing off for awhile, but I have to address this delusional ranting, Sarah.

Please.... I have to agree with some of 3Toes post to you; NASCAR needs to promote the other drivers to make the season more interesting and NO ONE would cheat for Jr, OMG, how obvious would that be and how dangerous it would be for the entire sport. Bill Francis and the guys are not dumb, and would not move in that direction.

I love the word you use; alleged, secret... more conspiracy thoughts from you and what will happen;

1. If he wins you get to point out that you were correct (even though you won't be)
2. If he doesn't win, you get to point out that "someone else" found out about this and put up a huge stink.

Either way you get to continue your delusional posts. And here I thought you were getting better, my mistake.

PS: I see your writing style and such over on the Talk Sports forum, interesting.

Great numbers. Hell, even the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins have a season ticket waiting list of nearly 3000---I should know, I'm number 2878.

Nascar is dying. The boring racing, the vanilla drivers, no driver controversies, rules that are made up as they go along, terrible COT, no brand identification with the cars, cookie cutter tracks and a lot more contribute to the decline of Nascar. And, Jimmie's fourth championship is NOT good for the sport. Cheatin' Chad will always have that cloud over his head. Fans want competition and not the same teams winning over and over again. Plus, and I'm not a Kyle fan, the Chase sucks when a driver with so many wins can't race for the Cup. They need to dump the Chase, which plays into Jimmie/Chad's game plan, make the COT better to drive and get a set of rules and live with thoser rules and not change them from week to week
