I am absolutely NOT taking up for his behavior but look at his mug shot. He "appears" to be very distraught. I hope he gets his life straightened out by getting the help he so obviously needs. I am also glad that he didn't kill the others involved.
Trooper or not - he is human. I absolutely think he should receive the justified punishment - I have zero tolerance for drinking and driving. He should have known better but sometimes when we are not thinking clear - we do completely stupid, out of character things. Looks like NC should look into getting their troopers some help to deal with the stresses they endure both on and off the field.

Well you are obviously so educated so you tell us? How stupid can YOU be? Are you related to Louis is BACK? You both sound of equal intellect. That's a big word for smart without the *ss part. Guess you aren't very familiar with that concept. Guess you didn't hear......a mind is a terrible thing to waste.

NCSHP unable to find a cover up for this POS allow him to resign with benefits intact. If convicted of the felony (IF) they would have fire him and no benefits. Damn shame Asheville caught him. A fellow Trooper probably would have given him a ride or ignored the whole thing.

no one should judge the master trooper in asheville until you walk in his shoes or know his troubles or possible medical problems

There are NO troubles or possible medical problems that could possibly justify anyone driving drunk crashing into occupied vehicles and driving away from the scene until spotted hours later by a LEO not willing to look the other way just because this jackass WAS a Trooper with the NCSHP. The only help too many of these guys are in need of is understanding that the same law they so belligerently enforce also applies to them.

It is alright for the law to drink. look at what they put up with. They deal with rednecks, coons crack heads etc. I like to see them mace and whip your ass!!!! etc
