Fuel efficency is a big issue with E85. Since NASCAR veh don't do well anyway maybe it won't be an issue. E85 may shorten the fuel windows changing strategies significantly.

It will also eat up engines just like our reguler street cars, boat engines, lawn mowers, etc.... Be ready to see more blown engines on the tracks.

Indy cars have been using e 85 for several years without having blown engine problems. Our continual use of foreign oil is a national security issue. The war in Iraq was not about WMD's it was about oil, how much has that cost us? There must always be pioneers when it comes to new technology and with a little support ethanol will be produced from algea and landfill waste ,not corn.
Thank you Nascar for thinking about the future of this country, to many americans only care that they have enough for a carton of cigerettes and a case of beer each weekend.Hopefully before I die I will see the day where Arab Terrorist nations have to drink their oil.
