I do not dislike him because he's driving the 20 car. Tony made the decision to leave is the only reason he is in the car. I dislike him because the media made him out of be the savior of NASCAR and the best thing that ever happened to racing. The kid believed his own hype and the beginning of this season was a nice wake up call for him. Especially since he was the one in the back riding around with all the crap or was it junk.
I agree and couldn't have said it better. It has absolutely nothing to do with him in the #20 car. I do think he is a talented driver and will be great someday. I just don't like his attitude and some of his comments. I do think he believed all the hype about himself.

I, for one, Think the Kid's improved a lot since then, and I do not think he believed his own hype. JMO.
He believed his own hype of that I have no doubt. Listening to his radio comments during the Nationwide races was enough to convince me of that. This year was just enough to bring him down to Earth. I just don't like the kid...there is something about him that just rubs me the wrong way.

He may very well be a nice down to earth kid but he comes across to me anyway as thinking he's hot shyt. He came into Cup thinking he was going to be a top 10 driver every week.

He said he thought the Cup cars were more suited to his driving style and that was before he'd run any races, all he had done was test for JGR by HIMSELF...big difference out on the track with 42 of the best. I think this has been a big wake up call for him.

Then your maturity level is very low. Do you realize you just said I don't like the "kid".
If you're not "kid" then shame on you for talking bad about children. Low life. Maybe someone can return the favor and talk about your kid. Which I'm sure with a parent like you wont have much of a chance.

He didn't come in saying or thinking that Mark Martin said that, JGR believed in him the media pumped him up just like they did Junior. Get some facts straight you might sound more credible but I doubt it. Narrow mindedness is what you ooze of.

Smoke put Joey in the car not Joey. If tony could have completed his contract then Joey would not have been in the car too soon.

no...I heard it come from Joey himself. Mark Martin said he has talent and I don't dispute that. You have your opinion of him and I have mine, no need to get nasty about it.

Unless you know Joey Logano on a personal level and spend time with him you can not attest to his so called great, nice and down to Earth attitude. You can only attest to how he appears on television and interviews. I had a favorite country singer that I thought was an incredibly nice normal guy. I met him and he was the biggest ego maniac and butt that I've ever met. Television and interviews only give you a glimpse of someone. People are not always who you perceive them to be.

He was receiving that massive media coverage before they said he'd be in the 20. They started the whole sliced bread thing before then. It isn't had big shoes to fill..Logano still HAS big shoes to fill.
