It should be fair to all drivers.
I think they should qualify no matter the weather.
They could qualify Saturday morning.

The race will become boring if Jimmy Johnson leads more than half laps. Racing should be of strategy. The crew chiefs and drivers should determine the race, not the cautions.
I found last weeks race quite boring.

I agree with you. I think they should qualify and race in the same day,and get it over with.

Or laundry, cleaning dishes.
This was more exciting than viewing the race last week, for me.

<quoted text>If they were under the old system Jimmie would still be leading but Kyle would be in second about 40 back. The rest would be pretty close to the same spot they're in now.
Kyle would be in 3rd in the old system, 183 points back. Carl would be in 2nd, can't remember the number, but it's something like 113 off the lead. Anyway, on to this qualifying thang. I'm all for them rescheduling qualifying on Saturday and see if they can get it in. I hope they take a serious look at doing something during the off season. If they can't get it in Saturday, than the leader sitting on the pole is fine by me. This has been an extremely unusual season and I don't expect to see this level of rain outs again anytime soon. We're all jumping on this because of the high number, but for the most part, I don't see this as a major issue. I find some of the suggestions for changes just, hmmmm... how do I put this, ridiculous. Flipping the field, come on people, that's just not going to happen, nor should it. Pit selection, this is a tough one. I can understand people wanting to see some kind of bingo pit selection, but I can't agree with it. If your going to give the points leader the pole, than I just don't see the justification in giving him a potentially bad pit stall. I look at it in the perspective of, if you start them in order of points, than it should remain consistent with pit selection order if they had qualified. People almost make this sound like a new issue, but it's been done this way for a long time in Nascar. This has become such a hot topic issue, because of the high number of rain outs this year. I believe were making it sound way to much, like some recent rule change that Nascar has made. The fact that Jimmie Johnson is the current benefactor doesn't help much either.

Why don't they just hand it over to Jimmie already. I'm sorry, but it's not fair that Jimmie gets the best pit stall for, what, 3 weeks in a row now? It's one thing if he qualified on the Pole, but to just give it to him. Whatever.
It was arranged by NASCAR and Chad Knaus! Knaus is John Darby's illigitimate son and has dirt on dear old Dad! In order to guarantee silence Darby gives Chad pretty much whatever he needs! Rainouts, opponents blown tires, wrecks, whatever it takes! If anyone does make a charge at the #48, out comes the caution! It's not fair, just not fair!!!

Yeah, but in the previous races, he's had a tremendous advantage having that first pit stall. He leaves the pits in the 1st postion and has clean air...so it's hard for the other cars to beat him. That's not exactly entertaining racing.
Maybe they should have the guys draw for postion during rain-outs. Keep the top 12 up front, but jumble them up.
I agree. last weeks race so boring, I had to leave a few times.

They couldn't qualify and then race. It would be chaos. After quals. the teams would then have to do a pit stall positioing that would be total chaos. Then you have the top 35 rule, Where do these guys go while they setup to race? Then you also have the go to the back stuff with engine changes and stuff. Are you going to keep a chase contender out because there was not enough time to change an engine? This is not Saturday night at the local dirt track, too much on the line for that kind of last minute BS!

Would you find it boring if Tony was in the same position kicking butt and dominating the chase? Plus Kyle got a few rainout's earlier if I am not mistaken. JJ is doing what he has to, like him or not the 48 team deserves alot of credit. Like it or not Toyota's Evil Empire choked big time plain and simple.

Lisa, I didn't say anything to you in the last couple of days about your behavior and how awful it was toward Sal's family and her memory. I have tried and tried for several months to be nice to you and to overlook your nastiness, chock it up to an 18 y/o girl with serious issues. But what you said on SAL's family's thread in their time of grief is inexcusable! You are an attention seeking parasite! You don't give a rat's azz about who you hurt with your words just as long as you get attention! You don't even care what kind of attention you get just as long as you get it! You are the sole reason many good people have left these forums.
You expect everyone to treat you good but you can treat others like crap and that's not right! Then when you get called on it, you say you're sorry, you'll change and then you go to another thread and pull the same chit on someone else. You told Nascarpvver yesterday that you would be good and you weren't! Yes, some people made reference to you but do you not expect them to after the way you treated them?
You wished me beaten! You wished death and molestation on someone's child! You called SAL a blind azz bat and wished death on her many times! Well as far as SAL goes, you got your wish you nasty little b*tch! And you're STILL not happy!

Sorry to anyone who is offeneded by my above post but I could not hold it in any longer. This has been coming on for a good six months now and the way Lisa treated others on the thread made in SAL's memory was the thing that pushed me over. I cannot understand why anyone would desecrate a good woman's memory the way she did.
