Thanks a lot for the update - I missed all of that today.

Isn't this one of the four tracks that Tony's never won on? Please correct me if I have that wrong.:)

I wonder if he wins the Nationwide race if that's good enough for him or he wants the Sprint win? I mean I wonder if he'd be content with any win at the track. I think when they get into the mode of I haven't won there yet it phys cs them out somewhat.

I was wondering the same thing. He seems to have set high standards for himself.

It's nice to see Dario doing well, too.

I think that it would be good enough for him and I think he would be content with a win on that track in either series.(I'm sure he would prefer a Sprint win though - but, he would still claim it).

I agree with you that the mental pressure of this being a track he's not tamed has to be there.

You know how it is when you want something so bad - you usually make simple mistakes that you normally wouldn't make because of that pressure to do well. Sure hope that doesn't happen.:)

So am I, lol, poor Dario he was the best last year in Indycar and he says it's challenging and humbling. I think in time he'll be fine. I still don't get why he couldn't have done one year in Nationwide but I guess Chip rushed it all at the expense of Dario!

Yeah if he gets every race he wants it wouldn't be so challenging as long as he has things to accomplish he will keep racing. I can't believe Busch this year he needs to slow down, lol.

I think the rookies should have to run a certain number of races starting from the tail in the Nationwide series before they are able to move up to the Sprint cup series. Other series do that and it keeps them out of the way of the more experienced racers. At least until they are lapped.

I think racing spots should be earned and not given to anyone who can come up with enough money. But it's not how our nation works.

he knows that he can't control what others behind him do.. he runs the best race he can and has finished second 6 times.. last season, he pushed Bobby over the line to victory in the Busch series race because he has figured it out that to finish second there after dominating the race, is like a win..that is what he said yesterday.

I think that Dario could actually go further than JPM because he really does have talent and I agree with what was said earlier - he was rushed in and maybe feeling the effects of that.

If NASCAR was that easy of a sport then everyone would be doing it - it takes time to find your fit and I hope that they give Dario that time.

I know it's like Chip said ok here's your car now go win! What the heck is up with that? I guess he thinks that he'll learn doing both Nationwide and Sprint but to me it's dumb. I think they all should race their way in. Go or go home no top 35 either. Then there wont be any bitterness about how someone made the race because they all made it on speed and talent or went home.
