Edwards on crutches with broken foot but plans to run 2 weekend races at Atlanta

Carl Edwards will race this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway despite breaking his right foot playing frisbee.

Jeez Louise, have we got to wrap these guys in cotton and store them in a closet during the season? Carl does all these flips and never gets hurt and now this??? It could have at least been his left foot so it wouldn't take some much stress.

Edwards need to take some time off to heal his foot first before going back on track. I have even read at the http://pinnaclelawsuit.typepad.com that most people who have had a hip surgery needs to have at least 3 months of proper rest.
