Hendrick Motorsportsa Dale Earnhardt Jr. learning whoa s who in Cup garage

When Dale Earnhardt Jr. looks around the Sprint Cup garage, he doesn't recognize some of the cars he sees.

Jim, if you have been watching any of the preseason programs you will see that all the drivers were making comments about not know who's in what car and what cars they are. They all have been talking about looking in their mirrors and not knowing who's pushing them.

It was a wreckfest...I was just happy to finally see cars on the track. Hey, I was doing the same thing as the drivers. I'd see a car and I was like... oh no Smoke went around but of course it was Joey... the same thing with the 12, being David Stremme instead of Newman, the 43, 96, 07, 44, 00 and the list goes on and on... Man it's been a silly OFF season.

Can't wait until this weekend!!

Yes they do, i agree ..But that isn't Jr's fault.
I would think he gets tired of every move he makes being reported that is the MEDIA for ya.

No Jim, I did not miss your point. All I'm saying is please stop. I just don't understand why everytime a story gets posted on the Dale Jr topix forum you have to start in on it. Why can't just 1 thread go without the nonsense.

Now to get back to the actually topic of this story. I hope some of these small newbie teams have a great year. And I hope that all the drivers get use to who is who. You know like the red Office Depot car is Smoke now instead of Carl.

Dale should know the #75 car. It's the second season for that team. History facts for Jr & his little group of so-called fans: Derrike Cope won the 1990 Daytona 500. It was one of many Daytona 500's that Sr. didn't win.

Now how hard is it too learn a few drivers and car numbers.

He wasn't driving the 75 car. He was driving the Purolator Number 10 car. I should know I've seen the 1990 500 many times on Nascar Classics. and That 75 car has been around since the mid 90's I believe.

Cope is in the #75 for the 2009 Daytona 500. Everyone knows he was in the #10 back in 1990. Big F-ing deal about Nascar Classics. True Nascar fans watched the 1990 Daytona 500 live and not on replay.

JN said he had not RACED since 06. Failing to qualify doesn't qualify as RACING. As for Cope's 1990 win, that was a gimme, he just happened to be at the right place at the right time, nothing but good luck. His two wins in 1990 were also his only top fives for the year. Cope has a total of 6 top fives that span a career all the way back to 1982. I would not be planning on coming down from Canada for his induction into the Hall of Fame anytime soon.
