Last year he said that the hard thing was getting used to how long the races were. He said that when he used to watch the races on TV, he would watch the start, then go mow the lawn, maybe take a nap and then watch the finish..then when he was in them, he could not believe how long they were.. Most of his problems last year were after the mid point of the race.. he is adjusted to the length now.. so he will be as good as Tony told us he would be.. Thank God JGR has patience..all 3 of their cars are going to have a good season!

I've had the opportunity to watch J.J. race in USAC several times and I always thought he was a talented driver. Watching him last year was kind of heartbreaking, but it sounds like he knows what to do this year and I hope it goes better!

I'm excited to see another Yeley fan in O'Fallon, MO!!!

My company sponsored him for several years when he first came into the Busch Series. They backed out this year under new ownership, but it was an awesome opportunity.
I can honestly say he is a good guy, with a great attitude toward his fans.

Here's to a great 07 season, and hopefully a few wins, Busch and Cup!!!!!!

I read an article about him that said they replaced some of his crew. Many of his crew last year were there from Bobby and JJ said sometimes it was difficult as a result of this. So a few guys were replaced and JJ got a hand in picking out the replacements. I hope he continues to do well because if he slips and starts having DNFs like last year, I think he will lose his ride. He lost the ride in the Busch- they could not get a sponsor for him in the #18 which is why he is in another car for Busch this year. At least that is what I read.....

I have been watching JJ race since pre triple crown. That was no small feat. He is a great racer.

He was 5th in points in the Busch series, so I doubt he lost his sponsorship because of lack of performance. They were doing a limited schedule and JJ wanted to do a full schedule. Now he is working to make the best of that team. He's finding sponsors and working hard to make that Buach team successful.

JGR hired JJ because of his talent. They know JJ had a tough time last year but they are also aware that the team even with Bobby (And how can you get better than that) had a tough time. He is working hard to turn the team around, and I think that he is surely the one who can get it done!
He's so exciting to watch when he gets going!

Gooo JJ!!!

PS: JJ always has always had a bit of a time in his freshman year, He has many awards for most improved driver. JJ is a student of the sport.

Travis, Do you still watch USAC racing? JJ is going to be racing in Las Vegas this month.
