Jeff Gordon was in front of Jr when it happened, even Jr said that. But He wasn't right up on him for him to cause it to happen. Jr said he was kind of just cruising behind him not wanting to lap him if he didn't have to when the tire went out.

Why do race drivers "bump" each other? to gain advantage? to get ahead?

Risking another's life is inexcusable. At these speeds anything could happen with dozens of drivers being injured/killed/damaged for life.

I wish I could be on the NASCAR panel. I'd fine the hell outta a driver who even thought about "bumping" another one.

Some of the rednecked tobacco chewing jerkoffs do this on purpose.

Why would have Jeff caused Jr to wreck? Jr had a blown tire and Jeff was nowhere near Jr when it happened.
Oh crap - the dilemma - agree with the Queen Schimit, or defend Jeff Gordon - I need a drink!

Bumping adds excitement to the sport. Ever watch formula 1? no bumping or blocking = boring. Obviously you don't know anything about the sport. The owners of Nascar have thought of this before. That's why they have the car of tomorrow. Don't talk about something you don't know anything about.

WHAT??!!!! You've never seen an F1 car airborne and land in the sand trap - when was the last time ya watched a race? Lack of fenders lets the tires climb up like a ladder and then gravity takes over.

anyways, I feel sorry for Tony. He still hasn't won a race. He came so close, and hit the wall.
