Appy, actually I find you rather funny. I gave a great memory and within it is a vault of memories of real racing, real racing as to when a man from Ettrick, Va. could take one little Yellow and Gold chevy and win rookie of the year. I might add that this man is a man that I am proud to call friend. I remember another Gold and White chevy #4 that was driven by a man by the name of Rex White. That car and many others was owned by a man by the name of Louie Clements and to this day I stay in touch with his son, Mike who has a wealth of real racing photos from the glory days of the 60s and 70s. I often think of another friend, Sam Bass, the official artist of NASCAR. I remember watching him do pencil drawings of cars at South Side Speedway and then getting his big break by selling a painting to Warner Hodston, former Lt. Govenor of California and owner of the Neil Bonnette chevys in the early 80s. To this day Sam works out of his office at Charlotte Motor Speedway and still buys his supplies from Joiner Paint and Frame in Petersburg, Va. Yes, I have a number of good friends in the racing community, both big time and small time. I continue to make friends by attending and working with WERA and CCS motorcycle roadracing groups. See, it is not hard to get friends in racing, however, the first thing one must do is get away from the boob tube and go out and see live racing, either local or big time racing.

Why do you even bother yapping about who you are, who you know and where you've been to some asshole who couldn't care less about you or the racing that appeals to you. I said 'poor memory' because apparently you haven't absorbed the fact that I don't care, and I don't feel that who you know and what you've done bumps your credibility enough to escape the fact you're a moron arguing a case for 'real racing' to somebody who wouldn't even care to watch it on TV or attend.

Are you that forgetful? I've already got word straight from one of the old-timer's mouth - the competition in the old days sucked. I don't care for it, and damn sure ain't impressed by it. Fuck dude, get over it. You can stop trying to lecture me on the history like somehow you'll raise your status with me, it ain't happening. However, if all this rambling makes you feel better, go ahead - you obviously need this therapy for your self esteem.

Great come back for a person who couldn't care less, HOWEVER, allow me to understand something. For somebody who could not care less, one must ask, why does the person keep answering. You are just like one of the simplest of toys, you DO NOT have the ability to resist. Each time I type something about old time racing you HAVE to respond, you have no choice.

I think that from now on I will call you by your new, well earned, name. You are "Yo-Yo Man", no matter how much you claim no interest, each time I throw you from the hand and you reach the end of your string, you must respond, juse as the Yo-Yo MUST return to the hand.

I look forward to your MANDATED reply.

Can someone please explain to me why every time a Dale Jr. fan creates a forum to discuss the driver they like, some people who obviously don’t like Jr. feel it is necessary to jump in and start putting people down?

Interesting response - it shows you have the capacity to think. I wouldn't credit you with having the ability to do it well, however. See, you suggest that since I don't care for old time racing, that I shouldn't ever respond to you. Your mistake is in assuming that's the only reason I'd reply.

See, there's idle chit-chat, shootin' the breeze, small talk, and lets not forget trolling - all of these are logical and quite common reasons for responding regardless of whether we're discussing a shared opinion or not. Oh, and none of these imply desire or unstoppable urge or anything...

The other hole in your logic is assuming it was all about old time racing. There's plenty of evidence in my comments that suggest that I simply don't like you, and that it's your yip-yap about yourself that I respond to, and in a quite negative manner. As I've said, I've chalked it up to you having a bad memory that you forget and continue blabbing about it to me, but apparently you forget about that and focus on the fact I don't share your opinion about old time racing.

So what? Maybe I like one flavor, you like another. World is full of differing opinions. But some people aren't going around announcing that they know the people who invented the flavor and worked in the factory that produces it while criticizing the other flavor and insulting those people for liking it. And some people don't expect everyone looks up to them like they're directly responsible.

Thing is, I don't have an issue with you stating facts about the old racing; It's the fact that you think you're better than everyone who's met fewer people and knows less about it. You'd get the same response if you were bragging on the history of New York style pizza when I prefer Chicago style. Same concept applies - I don't care who you are, whether you worked in a restaurant in NY, and I damn sure don't consider you a better person when you're shit-talking Chicago style pizza and those people who like it.

Oh, and LOL I almost forgot. Did you actually try that 'you can't NOT reply' tactic? rofl!! No disrespect to anyone who says that stupid shit, but really? "Always have to have the last word" is an ancient concept; no doubt humanity has evolved beyond that AND it's offspring. Oh, and BTW, menards tried that on my once already, it didn't work.

So here's what you're left with: STFU and prove your point by not giving me the chance to prove you wrong, OR I can also go with 'I'll disregard your idiot logic and respond anyway'. See, in order for the 'have the last word' thing to be effective, you need me to buy into it, which would give significance to what you say. But your poor memory - yeah; You forgot... I dont LIKE you and don't give a shit what you say.

Most times, it's not those who "don't like Jr" who start with the "putting people down." People come to comment on the NASCAR drivers, and Junior is the most popular driver who gets a lot more attention in the press than his own performance justifies, and therefore is a major topic of discussion here. Unfortunately, Junior's performance leaves little to brag about. Even so, when people wish to comment on him, and discuss his performance, which in reality isn't pretty, those Junior fans who don't like to deal with reality and can't defend Junior's performance start to label any poster that doesn't agree that Junior is the bee's knees as "haters" and start to put those people down. Afterwards, the non-Junior fans start to defend themselves against those who attack the messenger because they don't like the message.

Rather than label people as "haters" and attacking them for having their own opinion, maybe the Junior fans should state their own opinion and leave it at that. If dealing with an honest (though not pretty) discussion about Junior upsets them that much, they should avoid the forum all-together since this is a NASCAR forum and although his fans would like to believe that Junior is the face of NASCAR, in reality, he barely rates as a mediocre driver in the sport and that is worthy of discussion.

Yep, thats they way it is. My advise is for you to go back to the very first page of this thread and start reading what has been posted. It wont take long to see the Jr doubters, they will be very easy to identify. Generally the same posters, but they change screen names to try and fool but, if you will notice the location and how and what they write, you can identify them too. They say the same things over and over cause its all they got. I havent heard anything new in a while, they are very redundant. But its their right to post what they want so its just best to ignore the names they call you and the insults to your integrity and loyalness to your driver. They pick fights. Dont take the bait. They love to pull you into humiliation. Watch the board light up after I post this, Im just gonna sit back and laugh like I usally do. Alpine Digital will be LHAO at the response this brings. Funny thing about it all though, Im not a Jr supporter, but I am not a hater either. Jr. does drive in the camp I like, and I think he still has some racing left in him. But in the mean time, Jr doubters got plenty to say and they will say it. And thats ok, thats what this forum is for.

So, we see you were taught the difference between questions and statements, and how the punctuation works. lol

"I await the anticipated response from my cyber yo-yo."

And I willingly participate in your quest for abuse, fool. And since you're running out of steam, I'll wrap this up with one last chance for you to prove you have ANY sense at all:

You keep insisting that I will respond because I can't resist. If you'd stfu replying to me, your point will have been proven, but you keep responding. So who's the yo-yo? Now show us all again- how are you any better at this than I am? You're not. Because while you persist in giving me something to respond to by saying I will respond, you lose in the fact that I respond with saying you should shut up while you're ahead. Since you willingly prove you won't shut up, you destroy any chance you'd have of being right.

So, do you REALLY wanna play your little 'gotta get the last word' game? Awww... too bad. I've effectively killed your chance to win by saying you should shut up and prove you can. That means if you do, I'm right. If you don't, I'm still right because you're too stupid to shut up which makes you more of a yo-yo than you suggest I am.

But oh, wait - it's already too late to shut up; You should have done it before your last post. Now I have the perfect opportunity to say I'm done and I'm wrapping this up, and that you've lost because you can either shut up as I've suggested or show everyone its been you who can't resist responding.

Now you're cornered with no chance of success, but I'll go one step further. I'll give you a demonstration of how you should of handled this: STFU while you can, as I command you; I won't continue responding to your idiot comments and don't care how compelled you are to further humiliate yourself. And now, I simply ignore you.

Speaking of 'can't resist'... I just gotta. Let's break it down like this:
Jr doesn't get media attention because of his performance so there's no need for it to be justified with performance. He's an iconic figure by name, and his father - a legend - earned that justification for him. So without opinions being stated, who's the one who has issues about it? Who's the whiny bitch crying because he gets attention? Who's the... well lets just say they need a hug but I guess they prefer to vent by instigating conflict.

Haters.

But understand this term implies hate, but it's misleading. It isn't necessarily hate for a driver, but hate for the idea they can't have their way. Their verbal temper tantrums and instigations are nothing more than a means of trying to get others to feel as bad as they do. We also know them by the term 'trolls', right?

Haters are no different than many others - they try to pretend it's all innocent discussion and blame Jr fans for being aggressors. Many haters are too much of a coward to man up and say 'Damn right; I don't like him, and I'll tease you guys cuz he isn't winning'. They'd rather hide behind so many efforts to trigger an argument and try to validate it with saying he isn't deserving of his attention. TOO EFFING BAD! GET OVER IT!

"maybe the Junior fans should state their own opinion and leave it at that."

Maybe haters should check their big ass mouth at the door and not respond with something they know will cause an argument. No, it isn't a messenger attacked for the message, its the method of presenting the message like a slap in the face that gets a rise out of fans. Haters started the fire and the lying haters are pretending its not their fault they get burned.

Jr fans don't have reason to just fly off the handle. They just have a habit of standing up to people who instigate. Deal with it.
