Mythbusting the Johnson Conspiracy
From the Salem witch trials in colonial Massachusetts to the Bilderberger's Conference, conspiracy theories have been abundant and ever present to explain away things we can't quite understand.

I'm not so sure about the Johnson conspiracy but I believe the Earnhardt Sr. one.
Dale Sr. wrecks other drivers to win, Dale Sr. plows through the field wrecking cars all the way yet his car is fine( reenforced front ends ) Dale wins 7 championships. Dale wins, Nascar wins, Dick Childress pays off Nascar. ie some vintage wine here and there, a hunting trip in Africa.......
Chevrolet pays up too. Instead of investing in product development lets dump millions and millions into buying off Nascar so some Chevie driving racer wins it all.
too bad about the seat belt though.....

Stupid article. Five in a row is a product of a broken system. there are too many "cookie cutter" tracks in the chase. These are the tracks that Johnson excels at. I'd like to see tougher tracks in the chase, darlington, rockingham, a road course, Bristol.

Broken system? Please. Nascar keeps changing the "system" and Jimmie still finds a way to win championships cuz he's that good. Jimmie has won at the tougher tracks, road course, and at Bristol. NOBODY races better than Jimmie in the Chase. Change the tracks, systems, teams, and he'll STILL find a way to beat em' all.
