After you win often, its pretty safe to say you have setups and notes that are at least as good as the rest. That's the key assets to staying ahead of the competition. Chad has game plans that work, undeniably, and Johnson can drive very fast and very safe and consistent, so yeah, its gonna be a hell of a year for the competition that tries to one-up that team. I just wish those drivers who run well can finish well which is as it should be. But somehow they keep getting caught up in BS and the 48 team sidesteps bullets with the best of'em.

It's like a nightmare... for the more you hate his game, the better he plays it. Keep the attitude, dwell on it, indulge in your misfortune and suffer your anger. You haters whine and cry, but you entertain and amuse us with every comment you make.

Yea I think his fellow drivers will take care of it if the empty seats and cut purses happen ...when it starts to impact them directly ...they will take care of it so nascar does not have too....Sadly or maybe not so sadly the first person to spin him out is gonna get a standing "O" for it....And the fans will take up a collection if they get fined.....did you see that? I did not see anything ...not me lets ask mikey ....

Meanwhile, we're chugging along while you whine and bitch and look for that winner to root for. I'm laughing my a** off on a regular basis while I read comments like yours. Despite what you choose to believe, I'll still be rooting for Jimmie even when his success level drops off a bit and I do mean a bit, because he's always going to be competitive. I also have to tell you, I love how miserable you are right now watching Jimmie and how good he is. You see, what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

I can assure you, Jimmie's fans will never be disappointed. What reason would they ever have to be? He's already among the most successful drivers who has ever stepped into the Cup series and he's a guaranteed Hall Of Famer. So, what pray tell, would we ever have a reason to be miserable about? I'm pretty sure Petty's, Pearson's, Earnhardt's, Yarborough's, etc. fans feel far from miserable in what their drivers accomplished and I'm just as sure the Jimmie's will feel that same sense of satisfaction.

So, you keep on hoping against hope, that you'll one day be lucky enough to enjoy rooting for someone who's brought you as much pleasure as Jimmie has brought me and many others. I hope one day you will be that fortunate, than maybe you'll understand what I'm talking about.

if mark martin had won bristol, i could have enjoyed that! you know nuthin''bout me except what ya think ya picked up in a couple of posts. i know 48,24,88 are talented, thats obvious or they wouldn't be where they're at. nascar is not what i grew up lovin' to watch. it's turned into a fad thing. i only watch 8 or 10 races a year now, enjoy the trucks more and more. don't enjoy it as much since dale sr.died and that crowd doesn't run anymore. i just hate to see one person, doesn't matter who it is, win all the time. miserable? actually i am,cos i just had to put my 14yr. old jack russell to sleep but i asssure you my misery has nuthin' to do with j.j. winnin'! don't flatter yourself, my best friend of 45yrs. is a 24 fan bless his heart, and i deal with his attitude all the time so anything you have to say to think you've put me in my place cos i don't root for the mighty hendrick brood, save it. i've heard it all. it's funny, hendrick fans are a odd bunch. if ya dont like your drivers,it's wrong and thats all there is to it, but it's ok for you guy's to hate everybody else's drivers. friggin' elitist, that's why i don't like hendrick fans!(or drivers)

I'm a Hendrick fan and I love to see any of their drivers win but that is not why I responded to your post. I sincerely want to express my condolences for the loss of your pet. I have two, a Rat and a Chihuahua, that are my best buddies and do everything with me. I can't imagine losing either one. Honestly, I'm about as attacted to these two as I am to anyone.

That is the funny thing to me - it wasn't a bandwagon thing; I liked the 24 but he got the flames and I wasn't diggin it. The 48 was his other car and I liked the idea of that car doing well and yeah - JJ had his rookie errors and I placed blame on his mistakes just as I place blame on ANY driver who I truly believe is at fault.

Now we have people claim his fans jumped on his bandwagon because he's winning and if they dont like him, they make idiot comments and blame our disgust with them on the fact they don't like the 48 team. No, that is NOT the reason,(you're all welcome to like who you want,) our dislike for your comments are based on the comments - most of which are biased hateful opinion or speculation.

If you don't like JJ or the 48 team, thats great. There's a lot of drivers with a wide variety of manufacturers, teams, sponsors, car colors,#s, etc. so what ever you fancy, that's terrific. I understand JJ steals thunder more often than not, and I would personally rather see JPM, Martin, Logano or somebody else win. It makes for a much more exciting story than JJ putting another notch on his steering wheel.

I was actually quite excited when JPM was holding the lead for awhile, and that JL had the pole, as well as seeing DJ looking like he had potential... but under caution, I called it perfectly: "If Jr dont mess up, his pit crew will." and sure enough, speeding penalty. lol Oh well. Keep your eyes on the prize, DJ. Persistence prevails.

Anyway, I'll always root for the driver with the best story: JPM needs an oval win, Joey needs great finishes, Martin always looks good in the winners circle, DJ definately, Ambros or Keselowski would be a good story... but Gordon's all time wins and JJs excessive dominance, not so good a story. I'd just rather see any of these drivers win over all the others.
