Man! If people don't believe that "luck" plays a big part in racing, take a look at Kyle. Two weeks in a row he did nothing different than he's done the last 26 races and it all goes in the toliet.

That was some great racing at the end. They put on a good show and congrats to Biffle for coming out of no where to be a main player in the Chase. This could possibly be the most interesting and entertaining Chase so far.

Kyle can still win..look at what Jimmie Johnson did coming out of minus 152 points to win the championship.

I'm still holding out for Kyle..he never gives up.

Well said. I hope this big piece of humble pie helps him to realize that you can't act like a jackarse all the time and think it won't catch up with you. We saw the real Kyle today, he just gave up on his team, his sponsors and Nascar by not going back out there even when the car was running. That's inexcusable. His team worked their butts off to get that car back on the track and he just turned his back on them. Think Dale Sr., Jeff Gordon, Petty, Cale or any of the true greats would have done that, not in a million years. They faught for every lap, point, whatever they could get even if they had no business being in the car. Kyle just killed the psyche of that team. Think they're going to work that hard for him next time? It may be 99% of that effort, but you're kidding yourself if you think he didn't lose their respect today.

Kyle will always be just a crybaby standing outside the walls of greatness.

I thought Kyle was an idiot for pretty much throwing in the towel. There are still eight races to go and if anyone can come back from it, it is him. He acted like a spoiled child by proclaiming that he wouldn't go back out there. I bet his owners and sponsors loved that.

What an intersting chase this may very well turn out to be. Biffle has certainly thrown his hat into the ring.

There was no need for him to go back, he would still have finished 43rd. I thought it was a good call not to go out there and limp around the track and maybe cause other to wreck. It showed respect for the others in the Chase!! Do you people ever have a positive thought??

Actually I see both sides to this. Yes, might as well end your day because your going to finish last anyway... but then again, if you go back out you're not recorded as a DNF along with your sponsors still being showned on the track and you're showing your team along with your sponsors that you don't give up, that you will continue to fight on.

Then you have to go back to last year at the Spring Texas race where he pulled a simular thing by walking off and not finishing the race which Jr ended up doing for him. This was KB's fatal blow for losing his job. I would have thought he learned something from that but I guess not.

Pragmatism is not being a crybaby..it's called the truth. The car had problems..period. Kyle has nothing to prove by getting back out there and not, I repeat not, gaining any positions.

You must have missed the part where he said he did not want to hinder ( my word) other drivers by driving a crap car around the track and making a mess on the track.

If you are not a Ky fan, you can't be supportive and see what is really happening.

And we all know that Jimmie Johnson is really the biggest crybaby...check your tapes. He and Jeff...whine all the time when things get rough.
