You are aware that Joe Gibbs Racing was running a test engine this weekend, right? All three of their cars had an engine go. It has nothing to do with how he was driving. Sorry.

Yup, he is another driver who has class, maturity and respect for other drivers unlike Kyle.
You must be a fan or you wouldn't be in his news board leaving comments.

Doesn't change the fact he drives WAY over his head.
Seems to be working out alright for him though. He has 3 wins. Dale Jr. has how many?

Hey in for the baseball allstar game the players are voted in by the fans does that mean they don't deserve to be in the game? If the fans think someone is an alstar...

Kasey got voted in, Jr go in cause he won the alstar race in 2000 or something, Bobby Labonte got in on past champion lots of ways you can be an alstar.

I would totally agree with that! I would also agree that Kyle can be an AllStar driver -- he is talented. But his attitude makes you want to totally overlook that!

I have absolutely no respect for Kyle. I can admit he's a good driver, but no respect for him.

We Kahne fans knew he deserved to be there. So, we got him there. He would've preferred to race his way in, but he was so grateful that we did that for him. What if Kyle had to race his way in...and he didn't...and he had to rely on the Fan Vote? If his fans voted him in, would you be fine if he won? I can guarantee you would be. You wouldn't be saying "oh my driver doesn't deserve that win because he was voted in". And don't give me that bull**** about "oh he doesn't have to rely on that". It's a what if situation. IF he got voted in and won, you would be friggen happy. Just like we are to see Kasey win.

You may be pissed that we won, and say he didn't deserve it, but hey, he's the one that stood in VL holding that million dollar check. He earned that win. He passed every single friggen car on the track in order to get it. That gamble Kenny did in the pits was the best move of the race. He won it fair and square, he raced clean, and he deserved it.

I COMPLETELY agree with everything that you said! I read on another message board that someone thinks that NASCAR rigged the voting so that Kasey would make it in. I thought that was ridiculous! I mean, just b/c Kasey might not be the first guy they think of doesn't mean that he doesn't have a huge fanbase!
Kasey did everything right...he most def deserved to win. Both he and Kenny ran a smart race. You can't sit there and say Kasey didn't deserve to be there when he was able to drive up through that field and make his way to the front without any big cautions to help him. And the call for no tires was absolutely brilliant! Kasey Kahne proved that he IS an AllStar!

Even in the Showdown, he gained 10 spots...I believe they said he was the biggest gainer in the Showdown. His car was coming to him. If they went just a few more laps in that race, he for sure would've raced his way in. But that didn't happen, so us fans got him in. We knew he deserved to be there, and that's all that matters.

To be honest, I was kinda worried about the no tire call...knowing our luck. Especially when Jimmie, who did the same thing as us, started falling back. That call was definitely the best call of the entire race. Kenny deserves a gold medal for that call!

They were all smart. I think it was really smart of Kenny to remain calm, not to get Kasey excited. I could tell by his voice that he was freaking out though! Kole was great with telling him where Biffle was running and what he was doing. They all were calm and focussed. None of them lost it once.
