It's only a matter of time before Elliott and Brett will fall to the wayside of the Larry Johnson's of the Twitter world. Brett's tweets are not very self flattering and can be down right rude at times. I think it will get them into trouble before it is all said and done.

I see that Brett has put up some sort of disclaimer on his tweet page:
"These tweets are mine and are not connected to Elliott or n e 1 else. Don't like em? UNFOLLOW!"

While thats all well and good, that would hold up when and if his employer has to intervene if people get pissed off at one of his tweets. It doesn't take much either. An innocent comment about 'handycaps' or even a racial slur and all hell can break loose. Why anyone that is in the public eye would have an account is beyond me.

My opinion on twitter:

Twitter has replaced blogs and other types of "fan updates". IT seems quicker to do and easier to manage. However, it's also quicker to make a mistake. Like everything else, it has it's good points and bad points. People already complain over blogs, message boards, facebook and myspace so twitter is just the next step for people to dislike. Something will come along and replace twitter, something always does.

Here's a few of his latest ones. My concern (as NASCAR fan) is that he seems to think of being a driver (with BIG $$$$) as a JOB/WORK. Instead of enjoying the sport and really being "in the game." Maybe that's what has made the difference. He SEEMS to wish he could just hunt and hang with his "buddies"??? JMO
