Just finished watching the Nationwide race. Kyle Busch won and was given a decorated guitar which I guess was the trophy or part of. He went over and smashed it many times on the ground and threw the remains to the crew. How must the sponsors of the race feel. Typical lower class!!!!! Sorry to put on Elliotts pages.

yea, that's about all I saw of the race. I'm sure there will be repercussions from that little stunt. Not cool!!

No matter how talented he might be, Kyle Busch has won so much that he does not appreciate the honor of winning those races and seems to only only care that he is getting the attention those wins give him! I say that and other disrespectful actions he has shown will keep him from being a great driver and a fan favorite he could be no matter what his win total might end up being?

I'm sure someone has a broken heart tonight. That was a nice piece of art and I'm sure someone worked very hard on it. I did think the concept of why he smashed it was pretty cool. He did it so everyone on the crew could take home a piece of the trophy. Destructive and disrespectful to the artist, absolutely. Cool that he did it to share with the team.

Such jealousy over the soon to be greatest driver in NASCAR history. Isn't it interesting how fans of a driver who hasn't had a sniff of victory lane will criticize others? Even Senior was criticized for his actions on and off the track, and now after his death, they are putting statues of him up everywhere. The same will be done for the Shrub in time.

hello captain defensive. Nobody said Kyle wasn't a great driver. Why are you here if you're not also a fan of Elliott? Kyle repeatedly shows his age and arrogance through his actions. No one can dispute his talent, but you also can't dispute his questionable antics either. His moment last night was seen as incredibly disrespectful to some. I didn't have a problem with it, other than my thoughts for the artist. I like that raw emotion that he shows. The burn out was spectacular! But he smashed a trophy that someone spent a lot of time working on. The artist was okay with it. Kyle immediately found him in victory lane and told him he meant no disrespect to him. sam got paid either way, and got good publicity. No harm and no foul. But it seems it's getting to a point where Kyle needs to consider growing up and behaving like the apparent "soon to be greatest driver in NASCAR".

Thanks defensive for a great post! Yes, I agree that he is the heir apparent to the title of the 'greatest driver in NASCAR'. Would love to think that Elliott would have been in that position but not so and never will be. I did hear that Kyle ordered two more guitars and that everyone was ok with what happened. I just looked for more respect from him and was really surprised with his actions. He is a great driver tho.
