How long you gonna beat this one to death? If I actually tell you you can have the last word will you quit grasping for post and get a life?

rationalization

How is a thought since no owner wants to give your boy a full time ride, be it Cup, NW, or Trucks. Maybe he can go back to South Boston and get a ride there?

My boy? No I have a beautiful little girl. Before you look stupid again you might check the Harvicks twitters the Mrs seems to be on a different thought process than you: me too! RT @mtwins:@DeLanaHarvick: would love to see @ElliottSadler in either ur car or truck next season. Thought you knew everything. I am suprised to see they are allowing patients access to pens pencils or computers these days for safety reasons or do you only get ti work under observatation.

This is a bad year to be in ES's position! No matter how well he might run in the trucks and Nationwide cars, there are very few full time sponsors to go around! Heck...Even the top teams are having sponsorship issues and Do you think RCR signed Paul Menard just because he had a good start to the season? That might be a part of the reason he was signed, but He got that deal mainly because he is bring His Dad's Full Time Sponsorship Money with him! I be willing to bet that if ES had a full time sponsor ready to go with him next season, he would already be signed to drive a Good Cup car next year!!!

But according to many Elliott fans, he is a supposedly a sponsors dream. Or maybe not.

To date, Elliott is only scheduled to run 5 or 6 truck races for KHI next season. I don't think that even looks very good at the moment.

"Sadler said the only thing currently in the works for him was a possibility of a handful of races in the KHI No. 2 truck.I have talked to Kevin about running six or seven races in his truck," Sadler continued. "But that depends on how sponsorship works out. "

With all due respect to all the warring parties here...how do you explain the fact that ES seems to be a reasonably good driver when driving equipment other than RPM? And perhaps that should revive interest by some team and get him into a ride...there's worse drivers out there...both driving skills and personality. Having worked with a couple of teams in media/PR areas during the past few years, I think there's a sponsor(don't ask me which one--not my job)that would be happy to have him.

Just curious...thanks.

Perkins, you do not make sense, your are going back to an article that is old and LOL is referring to a tweet that was a few days ago. You are just dumb, everyone knows that things can change by the day and the tweet overrides the article so it is possible they are talking more than the 6 or 7previously stated.

My question is why are the other 3 (and last year 2) RPM cars seemingly competitive each week. Now RPM is clearly not top 5 equipment, but equipment that should at least be able to stay on the lead lap, unless something out of the driver's control goes wrong. The other 3 cars are able to maintain that status. Why can't Sadler?

The writer of the article you post is a little behind the times because that same exact statement was posted in another article about a week ago. The writer should keep up with changing events.

Talking with the people I've worked for and considering the prevailing opinion in the garage, etc., my thinking is that RPM was struggling for survival and have been directing their resources in a way to maximize success and showcase the drivers they wanted to retain and to satisfy current sponsors and attract new ones.

Also, ES wasn't high on the list of priorities after suing to retain his job and has been receiving substandard equipment.

Rumors in the garage have been saying that RPM has been impressed with his resurgence in other equipment as well as his improved attitude and rediscovered enthusiasm for racing in general. He's made plenty of mistakes, but he seems to have learned from them as well as benefiting from the association with KHI--a team that seems to have the their "stuff" together. Looking at the chaos that existed on previous Petty teams combined with the relative inexperience in NASCAR of Richard Petty's partners perhaps it's not all ES and the learning curve for all parties has been a little steep.

Who knows?

Take care,
Kats

Like I mentioned, if there is some other source out there that says Sadler has signed to run more the a handful of truck/NW races next season with KHI, feel free to post them. Again, we will wait.
