Another washout------

Although it didn't rain perhaps it would have been better. Another sorry finish for the 19. I will be anxiously looking for excuses and have decided that Jimmie Johnson just might as well get the year-end trophy today. Going to find something else to do on Sunday or whenever the races are. Perhaps the trucks will be more exciting.

Just google any of his post race quotes over the past few years.

How true Edwin. Have noticed your posts on other sites and was wondering if you thought he had lost all confidence in racing even though he says he wants to race. I don't believe that a driver can continue to go backwards and keep a sponsor or owner. I do believe that the Gilletts were not the right ones to buy the team, and I still don't think they know how to run it or have the best people available. Saw that Jeff Gordon made a two-tire choice Sunday - wrong choice like Elliott.

Too bad the Olympics are over. There were some exciting races/finishes there.:(

Honestly I wish he would take some time out of the seat to focus on what is most important right now. I wouldn't care if he quit and not for the reasons you over here would think. I give him credit for leaving his son in NICU every week just for your entertainment and ridicule. I don't care about the past this is the present and that little boy his future so I wish he would just focus on him and say to hell with the rest of you. Oh but then what would you over here do with your day. I hear Brad needs some "fans".

Steve Wallace is pretty hard-up for a fan or 2 as well.
Honestly, that's really a great post. Seems as though you were reading my mind at the time. I don't know how Elliott can stand leaving his new son either just to get in that car and end up with crappy finishes. He needs to take a long break. I'd rather see him go away for awhile then continue on with this dismal path he seems to have taken.

Elliott has said his worst fear is to fil as a race car driver back when eh was with the Wood Bros. He needs to evaluate his path in NASCAR.

When he started having grooming issues, his promising career took a 180. Think about it, it was in about 2005 when the clean cut kid turned into the unshaven mop head. What else could it be??????????

Wow so according to your theory if I go out and get a buzz cut all my problems will vanish. Well why didn't the government think of that to hell with economic relief packages just send everyone the price of a hair cut and poof the budget crisis over. This sounds rediculous and so does that post but you did prove my point he just needs to say to hell with you and focus on his family. That way you and others can continue to dwell on the past because that will be all there is.

I had a thought this week let's talk about E in the race before they race that way we can actually talk and the "fans" can't say we are making excuses cause they have not even run.

They have been using similar qual setups for two years.

And it appears all 3 RPM cars were fast off the truck for that first bonzia lap (if thats what they were running)

we will see what happens to those early speeds and if they can hold up when other teams go into qual trim for their late bonzia run.
