Dodge Motorsports NSCS LifeLock 400 Race Advance- Michigan International Speedway

Elliott Sadler has top-10 finishes in three of his last five MIS races..including top 10s in both races last year.

"I love coming to Michigan for the race! It's one of the most fun racetracks from a driver's perspective that we visit. It's big, fast, wide and there is some of the best racing on the circuit. The track has multiple grooves, so if you're car isn't working in one place you can just move up or down the racetrack until you find a spot that works for you. "I've always run pretty well at Michigan and I'm hoping that continues this weekend. I'd love to lead some laps and race up front all day. I think with the progress that Richard Petty Motorsports has show in the last couple weeks that we can make a strong showing in our Best Buy Dodge and maybe race up front with some of our teammates for most of the day."

I am fed up waiting for this promised improvement! He only has 1 top 5 and only 2 top 15 finishes this year and after this race last year, he had 3 top 10s and 5 top 15 finishes! He is fairly successful at this track and I feel this is the race and the time to show that improvement and have a good finish????? If he does not have a good finish for whatever reason then I will not expect him to do well at any tracks other than plate races or road courses the rest of the season!!!!

I am not trying to say all these poor runs are ES's fault, Far from it!!! It is a result of many factors? I still feel that if ES was given the good Cars Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, or Kyle Busch get almost every week, then his finishes would be much better and we would have more to cheer about? Its hard to drive a car like Kyle Busch does if you don't trust it will stay on the track? ES has avoided one thing that he had trouble with last season...Race ending Wrecks!!! But I am not sure that is a result of good driving or cautious driving? Maybe it a little bit of both?

worst excuses you have come up with all season!

bottom line, Sadler cannot drive a loose car, never has been able too either and the COT will always be loose off. Sadler had good cars in his first 3 years at Yates, and only managed two wins . Remember, when he started at Yates, his car was a top 5 car in driver/owner points the season before and where did he finish his first year? like mid 20s or something? He has had tier one equipment before, and done little with it, while ome one like Kyle takes over a VERY average 18 car, and turns it into a winner. See the difference?
