The truth is that Mikey is nothing but an accident waiting to happen, has he been in anything this year at Daytona where he did not wreck? These one off attempts are pathetic at best, futile at worst. Mikey should have the respect to the sport, after all these years, to step aside and allow the full time drives an attempt to start their career. I have seen Mikey race from his time in the Bullfrog Knit Pontiac Baby Grand to the current stint with NAPA and I can say that he has never been much of a racer, a hell of a spokes person, but not much as a racer.

It's all about his ego. Keep the 37 year tradition of a waltrip in the 500. He corrected someone who called him a "pretty good driver" and said he was better than that. He refuses to accept reality. If his last name was smith he wouldn't be in the sport and working at a kmart.
