You think??? We've been watching "Madhouse" every Sunday for weeks now and while it's amazing what those drivers get away with, it's also good for the sport and the drivers. Bring back the days of letting the boys have fun, do some trash talking and throw a punch or two every now and then, if need be. Nascar has gotten entirely too political, the fans aren't taken in consideration even though we show up at every race, and support the sport.

One more thing... while I'm a Hendrick fan, something needs to be done so Jimmie Johnson isn't winning all the time. There is nothing more boring than seeing the same guy win year after year, and start out 2010 the same way. There are 40+ other teams in the garage, what are they missing?

I agree with rivalries, maybe trash-talking, but a lethargic start? Hardly. Harvick is the only other driver that can hang with Jimmie so far. Yall are witnessing a legend in the making. Excitement at it's best. You can't stop Jimmie Johnson you can only hope to contain him. Bring yur A game or get left by the wasteside!

BEST DRIVER: JIMMIE JOHNSON
BEST CREW CHIEF: CHAD KNAUS
BEST OWNER: RICK HENDRICK

Its not that they don't let the guys duke it out, its that the penalty for that hits them where it hurts the most - in the points.

If they couold come up with a different punishment that was effective enough to dissuade them from effecting the outcome of a championship, they'd be back to business like olden times. ;)

Dont forget, soon as that wing comes off, its back to adjustment tweaks for Chad... He won't have tried and tested, proven effective setups.

What are the other teams missing, you ask? Just that: Chad's been in the game since day1 with the new car, and with the least amount of variables to factor in like different drivers, sponsors, pit crew, manufacturers, etc. He's one of the few who is STILL working with all the same people and gear he started whoopin butt with.

But again, the new variable (wing) is going to be a change that Jimmie may not be so effective with. For awhile.
